$4.8 billion profit is nothing to scoff at, but when your revenues are 48 billion, they're not performing that well. Those are some sucky margins.

they should make there touch wiz a bit beautiful I have s4 and this uI is ugly look at the camera icon god . And reduce the amount of useless apps.and make there design a bit different and use some expensive materials or make it like the lumia are.they will be back on there feeT's.

Sony Xperia FOREVER, 29 Jan 2015people migrates from Galaxy lineup to Note lineup, then the... moreOk... xperia lover.... tell me difference and innovation in z1, z2 and z3... almost same specs and also same look... my friend had z1 and upgraded to z2 and anyone was not even able to recorgnise which model is it by looks.... and samsung is the brand which spends most on innovation and techanology.... z series would be stuck at 3 or 4 inch id samsung has not stated big screens which are now a trend...

I stil think Samsung needs a "premium" brand.
You cant do both "good value for money"-products, and "premium"-products under the same name. And by brand I mean, it should not say Samsung in big letters (... and "by samsung" in small letters, would perhaps be acceptible), I'm not refering to the Galaxy series, and I do think Samsung could make use of that premium brand in other product categories than just mobile devices.

Samsung you deserve it. If you don't listen the customers then how can you make profit.
S4 and then S5 both the flop phones are full of unnecessary functions and ugly look.

Any company which takes their customers for granted will face problem.
Samsung has poor design (doesnt feel premium) & they have flooded the market with similar designed phones. Its hard to distinguise their flagship from low end/mid end handes.

It's weird for someone who doesn't own one and haven't even touch it to conclude that it's useless. In that case, i can say the LG Flex is useless and so is Apple's touchid cos you can still do the same thing without having it adding to the cost of the phone and passing it on to customers.

people migrates from Galaxy lineup to Note lineup, then they migrates from Samsung as a whole brand to others... It's because simply, Samsung still holding on this boring design in their Galaxy flagship and won't innovate, but what they do is copycatting and they call it innovation... too much gimmicky features and software that i don't see useful to pack in a smartphone but instead samsung should've concentrated more on the design and just bring to their fanboiz and customers something more pleasant and eye catching (just to them lol)...
Samsung is selling quiet well, nobody can deny that, but this is not the matter most for me as a user or for customers, because they're not gonna share with us their profits... the matter most is the build quality, design performance..etc the damn premium feel... the only thing present is the performance but the rest are absent... sorry samsung fanboiz, truth is sore, but it must be said, samsung feels so cheap and not worth the price when samsung have a new release of a galaxy flagship or a note.
