This proved why apple iphone is unreasonably expensive. Actual cost of manufacturing plus BOM or bill of materials is just $199 for iphone 5 and $229 for iphone 6 far less than Samsung , Somy , Htc Lg even Xiaomi . Other money go to apple's pocket . Most of the public haven't got this if they know they will think twice to buy iphone with that much price.

So Apple sold about 1/3 of the smartphones but got over 90% of profits. Wow. Big profit margin per each phone sold.

However im yet to see a phone cover for samsung htc or any other maker with cut out at the back of it so everybody can see what you use. I dont think ive seen many iphone covers actually covering apple thing. Thats how i see apple. Show off.

A V8 engine on paper isn't the same in real life, and Apple's performance has always been amongst that of other flagships. That's all that matters.
iPhone 6 Plus beat the Note 4 in most areas of performance, and is simply a stellar and reliable smartphone. So what if it doesn't have a QHD screen? Like anyone other than geeks care.

Everyone must except the fact tht Apple is the Only company who sells his Brand by mobile phones.
And people also buy "The I phones" not a mobile phone.
Bcoz mobile phone users has desires. they want something from their makers.
They want more from them...lyk More Ram,More powerful processor, More powerful GPU,Better Camera,More Battery Life...etc from new model.
But I never ever heard any desire from "The I Phone" users.they just take whatever the Apple makes.and then they defend it.
So...just except the fact tht " I phone is a Brand" and others r just Mobile phones.

This just demonstration the excessive mark-up that Apple adds to the cost of each iPhone. No other phone company even comes close
Since 2007 Apple have created a tradition for people to queue overnight in order to be the first person to own the latest iPhone.
Seriously queuing for say a week not to get a discounted or sale item but to OVERPAY by such a huge amount that Apple posted its largest net profit for any quarter $18 BILLION, ($13 BILLION) so up by $5 Billion or 38%.
The iPhone6 / 6+ basically the IPhone5 which has a larger display. In 2 years and all the profits Apple has generated it is a tweaked iPhone5 which adds the non phone related Apple Pay
Apple in its adverts states as much
It appears to be a "status symbol" of sorts with some so eager to own an iPhone many will purchase a two year ex contract iPhone than buy a New non Apple phone.
Many who comment in the iPhone articles are NOT jealous we just don't understand.
Benchmark are just that if it scores higher than an Android we accept that the 4 or 5 it does but we are talking milliseconds.
It does not make your phone better, eg Dual Core 4.3 inches in 2011 better specs which costs less
You would think when Apple announces these profits it would be a wake up call
You are so wrong and at best the iPhone6 is a mid range phone
I uaee2 phones and exchange data throughout the day Bluetooth, NFC which I could not do if one of the phones was a iPhone.
Again its the defence by the people who have overpaid so much, If I was sold the same phone but larger after 2 years I would NOT be leaping to it defense
In October 2015 I really am not expecting any vast increase in specs when the new iPhone is launched
I also do not expect Apple to lower the price of the iPhone7
Read the headlines one company made $93 whilst all the other companies whose total volume must dwarf Apple together made $7
