Premium handsets go for premium prices.
Go buy a Meizu or Xiaomi if you want it cheaper and stop complaining.
Either way, companies are no charities, they don't care how much the labour costs as long as it's legal.

I use a Sony Z3 Compact for my day phone and anything but cheap feeling. If you feel happy paying for over-priced hardware that actually has less functionality, go right ahead, it's a free world but please don't go slagging off others that make an informed choice.

iphone can phone and text. sometime i go online and it uses 50% of the battery to watch youtube for 20 min!

Its north America sales,on network fr 200$ plan. Not sim free worth 850$ available elsewhere n the world.American merchandise are always preferred by all, and there is nothing else as consumer products.
Its still a show off cell than technically superior to others. Maybe we all realise that its still a toy,than an executive luxury.

Only a dumbsumer cares about profit since that means you're overpaying for mediocrity such as 1GB DRAM for a flagship.

Congratulations to Apple. Looking forward to replacing my old iPhone 5 with a 6S this fall.
Remember, nothing is "free". iOS and OS X updates are not free. Swift is not free. The A7 and A8 processors are not free. Metal is not free. Everything costs time, effort, and money, and hardware engineers and software developers deserve payment for their work. Apple's profits are not just "extra cash", but pay for their employees, facilities, and all the stuff we get for "free" when we buy Macs and iThings.
