Most geeks do not care much about the world, just my gadget and me. Everyday looking at paper specs, customising endlessly on their phones, the phone is always glued to their hands.
Thats why they are confuse why the need for a smartwatch. And they are confuse with Apple Watch. They can't even see that Apple Watch is different from all those Gears / Moto or LG.
Plus they are mostly android users. Thinking they are soo very smart. Wow i know specs, i know how things works by using wiki.. blah blah. They lost all sense of deep thinking. They worship "technology", and become slaves of technology. Interrupting their family and friends, just to answer to notifications. Ironically speaking. We should be the one using technology, NOT getting used by technology.

This watch battery lasts 18 hours only! this watch will FAIL and iPhone6 is the last phone from apple to break record sales, iphone7 or iphone6S sales wont be close.

Your phone cause friends and family to hate you, as you constantly stare at it instead of them.
You cannot wear your phone, as a fashion statement.
Your phone cannot measure your health 24x7
Your phone cannot come with you when you are exercising
Your phone cannot help you, unless you have 1 free hand.
So Apple watch is there to fill those void.
And yes, it does not work for geeks also, as they are glued to their phones too much, and they do not care about health, workout or friends or family.

too good --- need one. Why dont they make api to support android - I just shifted from iPhone 5s to Xperia z3.

Why do we need smartwatches again? Is it too much to just get your phone out of your pocket and do everything a smartwatch can do with much more ease and convenience? I know we don't need additional notifications. Most people are holding or checking their phones every so often anyway. I just don't get it. Maybe someone could enlighten me. Thanks.

I believe that the price is a part of the marketing strategy, where apple is trying to position it's watch in the same level of Rolex. But, the latter never gets obsolete. This smart watch will be totally unusable five years from now or even sooner.

To those who may getting one, better wait for some review first. Especially wait for the review on the battery life part. You won't want to charge your watch twice a day.
