AnonD-10363, 14 Mar 2015I feel that this teaser hints towards the upcoming CM12 upd... moreThey r sure to release a device as they already asked the customers the scrren size , software preferences & Back material that should be used in making of new device. And ppl chose a 5 inch phone with a polyester back with huge preference to Social buff etc.

Highly irresponsible statement. most of the micromax devices still run on Icecream Sandwich and Jelly bean, the quality of the mmx top dogs is barely anything in front of mi cheapoids. Still if yu says its gonna be better, just reveal the ACTUAL numbers of Yurekas sold!!!

Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015good punch YU!
Xiaomi is pretty bad with android updates... moreHTC is another maker who charges users with premium price but almost no update for old devices despite launching new devices every 6 months.
Besides HTC, other makers who charge premium for their flagship devices like LG, Sammy, Sony are very bad for updating the old devices!
So far the best is still Apple. Even the 4 years old iPad2 still can get update for iOS 8.2.

It is not that they are bad at updates but MIUI is so different from stock Android that the new features added will probably be totally different from stock Android. Hence, even if they update it to Lollipop now, you won't feel any changed.

Never realized how many Indians are on here.
It's interesting to see Micromax the the biggest OEM in India directly attacking Xiaomi. They must be afraid of Xiaomi's fast rise.

fragmentation is still a huge issue with android. my phone hasn't got lolipop yet my smartwatch has. Pretty damn embarrasing.

good punch YU!
Xiaomi is pretty bad with android updates for non-flagship phones. Hope YU beats arrogant xiaomi and do remember how micromax was humbled by Xiaomi as well.

So first they're mocking Xiaomi for not having lollipop, then theyre saying the future is coming, indicating with that statement that they're not having lollipop.
Awesome. Just awesome.
