Anonymous, 07 Oct 2009oh yeah... itunes is SO open! its so easy to add tracks ... moreWTF are you on about, this has nothing whatsoever to do with iTunes, it's about Adobe retaining control of the Internet which affects everyone who uses the Internet.

iTunes only affects those who choose to use it, there are plenty of alternatives.

Flash, 06 Oct 2009Unless you have living under a shell, there has been effort... moreThis version of Flash will only work with content created with ActionScript 3.0, Flash-Lite will only work with content created with ActionScript 2.0, ActionScript is Adobe's proprietry version of JavaScript.

This means that not all content will be available until developers rewrite older content.

On a desktop this isn't an issue as both virtual machines can run, on a mobile platform this isn't possible due to Flash's heavy system requirements.

But for now, I will not consider it a loss and will not support it. If I want full interactive experience, I'll get it from my 55 inch LED HDTV at home and my wii :) I will not cry over it if my phone does not have it.

And HTML-based video/interaction will not surpass a full interactive experience that is possible with Flash. Not yet at least.
