LG is the best..even than samsung...samsung is only popular for the fact that they started the race first and were the 1st to get into many markets.samsung fans say that its the best simply because they havent used an LG phone as yet or all they know is samsung for the reason that other brand like Sony,LG,htc dont invest much as samsung in campaigns and marketing..thats why the so goog LG G3 was a success because of marketing.

LG is a mass producer of many components that goes into smartphone. Also, LG has scale and reach as it is present in many more markets than Sony, HTC, Motorola and any Chinese brand. Only a Samsung and LG are capable of producing cheap yet functional Nexus device but Samsung is ruled out for many reasons as we already know. So, LG is going to be a natural choice. Google must have learned this hard after unsuccessful Nexus 6 venture with Motorola. And don't forget, Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 were very successful devices.

If Google really wants a good maker they should team up with Nvidia look how will they are doing with the shield products and when it comes to hardware they are good at that too. And when Nvidia does make a phone it will blow all the competition out of the way......

It's just NOT working google...
90% of the features of lagdroid are unusable to the general user because he/she cannot find them in the OS.
Those who find these features, have to constantly toggle and search for them to actually use them.
This is where the tile interface of wp breaks the neck of lagdroid.
now, being a new os wp was (i said 'was') lacking many features that were standard to other smartphones in the market. But after so many updates and wp 8.1 upgrade (and, guaranteed updates for a period of 3 years by microsoft) that gap has been almost filled. Now windows 10 will have many features that will put it ahead in the race with android (lagdroid).
Note: a word to open source idiots ....
any open source system is 'open' to heavy security attacks as its attack surface is very big. its source code is available to the hacker and can be exploited in ways that go undetected.
Any system which is used by a very large public will always be target of attacks, but if that is an open source system, then hackers get to feast the users in ways only mythology can explain.
Now, comparision of windows phone with iOS:
iOS is actually a good platform, if you can afford an iPhone then its not a bad bet.
Only, my personal belief is that in India an unlocked iPhone 6+ 128GB costed me 80,000 bugs. And windows phone of any range perform the same (awsome). So, instead of getting a device of 80k and keep it for 2 years, we can buy a decent device of 15k-20k every 6 months for a period of 2 years & feel more happier than getting an iPhone.
Still an iPhone is an iPhone. & this is my personal choice.
P.S.: I currently hv iPhone 6plus 128gb, lumia 620, galaxy Note 4 with me. So, I am a user of all the 3 platforms & my Note 4 hangs like hell.

Hope for two different Nexus this time... a phablet like the Nexus 6 is mandatory in today's market, but I also hope for a sort of updated Nexus 5 with bigger battery and improved camera/screen/processor, but with the same compact size. Now, that would sell. A sort of Nexus Compact. :)

Google finally realize that releasing nexus with high price is fail. They better stick nexus 7 with nexus 5 price range, out of stock nexus 6 is just big talk, cause they only produce small quantity of nexus 6

Oh Yes! Already loved the nexus 5 and I will love it if LG makes the next nexus smartphone. Here my wish:
* 6.5" screen with QHD with gorilla glass
* 6 GB RAM
* A option for even bigger internal storage (256 GB or 512 GB)
* Ofcouse, use the latest high-end qualcomm SoC.
* And atleast 4000 mAh battery to power this beautiful beast.

LG would be best to make Nexus devices. I have the Z3C and its display is pretty bad compared to the N5. So Sony Nexus is a no go. If the next Nexus phone has all the things listed below, I'll definitely buy it.
- 4.7 to 5 inch 1080p IPS+ LG display
- Display has to be centered
- Metal frame
- Front stereo speakers
- MicroSD slot
- No protruding back camera
- At least 3500 mAh battery
I don't care about water proof (not planing to take bath with a phone). 2GB RAM is fine (why Apple can utilize 1GB RAM? Please optimize Android already). Midrange Soc is fine (what's the point if high end CPU gets throttled when it gets hot?).
I'm still looking for a phone to keep (just a smartphone with basic functions like web surfing and watching movies), not a fat phablet nor a powerful computer phone like the N6. So get that thru your thick skull, Google!
