The official bend test was never the issue with the Iphone. The biggest issue was when people on the street could find the pressure point and bend it by hand for every device so clearly a defect that didnt show up in regular testing.

This test is a fake one. Instead of testing NORMAL Samsung S6, they prefer to use the s6edge which has more screen size and could be vulnerable. Seems the test is paid by apple. It has a FAKE result. Test iphone6 with samsung s6 NORMAL (not edge).

I think for test should be also used Iph6 which has similar foot print with other phones. It will make many Iph6 owners happy to see that result. I believe there is also many more users of Iph6 then Iph6 plus. It will be great to see that test. Thanks

In my view no one should apply such pressure on their phones. So to me this bending text serves just to show what kind of pressure punishment each device can take.

They should remake this test with teh S6 and also with one of the lumia's or perhaps the expriaZ series.

This is because the s6 edge is used. Try the normal galaxy s6 for the comparison, if iphone has thinner edges it would break with less than a hundred pounds. And what is with these people when samsung made galaxy with plastic but sturdier build ifans complaints for not being premium. But when they made phones with metal ifans still complaints cause it also bends.

i have some issues with this test, first y didnt they use d regular s6 in place of the edge variant, the edge part already sets it at an advantage, second, who in the world puts dia precious fones to stupid crappy test like this, even an iron rod will bend, and finally, d s6 edge didnt bend the edge screen cracked and it still worked afterwards...but wats wit these stupid tests?.

I am never worried about bending my phone but worried about cracking it.Bend test or knife test is something that is not needed for phones a part from iphone 6 plus
