06 April, 2015
In Samsung's controlled conditions the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge prove tougher than a batch of 5 pencils.

So those two different groups of tests (Samsungs and Square Trades) can not be used fairly to compare the fate of each phone outside of each set of tests.

Just goes to show how Samsung listened to too much of the Apple bunch. Going thinner compromises structural integrity, no replaceable battery, no real water resistance, and we all know they could have put a micro SD slot if they can get away with a dual SIM version.

It's all silly now with it being like an iPhone. Bring back why we were buying Samsung - replaceable battery, memory expansion, and all the spectacular specs without compromises. I think the Note 3 is my last Samsung device that's worth it.

They just showed s6 bends as easily as s6 edge, and under less pressure than iphone6+,...
They just shot their own toe about the issue

Better add 100$ more for a samsung metal enforced chasis to keep it safe in any case, like iphone owners were recommended to do

Nothing never fails in their own tests .
If students are allowed to prepare their own question papers then no one have ever failed .

[deleted post]That's as maybe, but there are a lot more idiots owning phones nowadays than there use to be. That is why these tests are available, and quite frankly needed. Think 'Health and Safety', which was not needed nowhere near as much back in the past as it is needed now. Sadly things are only going to get worse as the human race progresses into a more lazy and vegetised state, because of our reliance on technology to do things for us.

Yes, because that's what you do with your $800 phone, you try to break it.
