    This is amazing. Do you realize how small 10.5 micrometers is? Insane.. But hardly useful in the smartphone world.

          Pointless! At least Apple get it, resolution beyond a specific point on a small display needs to be limited by what the human eye can discern. Sharp should focus on making large 8K displays for the home, or even monitors.

            And who cares about battery anyway..

              It's like high-performance cars... what good is 250mp/h in a car when you can't go faster than 75?

              At a distance of 30-40cm's, you can't differentiate whether it's 330ppi or 500ppi, let alone 800. Are we just doing tech for the sake of it?
