Mine 520 worked fine with windows 10,sometimes it freezed, just disconnected the battery and its ok again. Upgrade to W10 because get bored with w8.1

I updated my Lumia 525 with windows Insider to win10 but Maps and Microsoft Edge was crashing. then installed Windows Device Recovery tool 3.1.2 and rolled back to win8.1
