The only possible solution is after updating to windows 10 the base version when you get the option to update to the next version.. Dont! The initial version more stable than the next.

There is nothing to do with the windows 10 TP as it was installed in our phones smoothly, so dont blame it.. The recovery tool is the culprit.. People who used the tool without even installing the TP also got this problem by just recovering their phone using the software. Microsoft only told us to install the TP at our own risk, they havent ever told not to use the recovery tool. So they should find a fix for all our bricked phones or should replace or repair it for free. I dont think the newly released WPRT 1.2.4 would fix all the bricked phones. We should only blame Microsoft for ending up our phones like this.

Also 52X-series are not the only phones that got bricked, some 620 n 920 also got the same issue..

The problem Its not about the preview that we installed, but about the windows restore tool that should fix our phone not brick... Shame on MS !!!

Exciting days in the old Lumias camp!

After years of bland, stupid and uninspired software with lagging App support, Microsoft decided to do the ultimate "are you a zombie?" test.
They kill your device and see if you react with something other than "OMG, Lumias are so amazing, just look at this new awesome black screen! OMG, OMG, Android users which they had such a useless POS like this -- let alone after I got the permanent black screen!".

I'm surprised with the results, a lot of still somewhat functioning brains in that camp!

Because they just have 512 MB RAM and low CPU & GPU.
That's why i gonna switch to a phone that has 1 GB RAM & better chip, but already has windows 10 in it

You're a victim? Of stupidity, then... MS have repeatedly warned that this is technical preview, incomplete, unstable and with a high degree of risk for any phone it is installed on. It's far from a beta, let alone a working release. You'd have to be illiterate to overlook the warning ⚠ signs... Sorry about your phone, but MS is certainly NOT to blame!

I use both android and WP. I had a Lumia 520 and now am a new user of Lumia 535. I love the phone and think Microsoft has done a good job. WP has less blostware, is more simple to use, is fast, fluid, doesn't lag like Android and above all, has excellent after sales support anf plenty of doftware upgrades assured.
