Samsung acknowledges Galaxy S5 Lollipop update issues

Am I the only one that hasn't been getting certain text messages since the update? Also my phone has beenough extremely slow in response time when trying to text or type. Phone is now slow in general.

Since the latest update I had been unable to transfer videos/pics stored on my phone microSD to my computer. For those who may be trying to access photos in the gallery via PC or transfer videos/pics to your PC and unable to because of empty folder, with the help of Samsung support in a chat session we were able to get the problem resolved. Disclaimer - Your results may vary.
Problem - Running Windows7. PC recognized the phone was attached via USB cable. Would hear audible ping on PC and popup Autoplay screen shot with 3 choices. Chose OPEN DEVICE TO VIEW FILES as normal but would only have another screen popup with SAMSUNG-SM-G900V and no files listed. Unable to locate DCIM file. I took my microSD card out of the phone, put it into a standard microSD adapter and inserted it into the PC to verify the videos/pics were actually viewable and files were not corrupted. MicroSD card worked fine in the PC.
FIX - Unbeknownst to me after the phone was plugged into the computer there was a notification being posted on the phone.
1) Swipe down on the phone to view the File Transfer - Tap here for more options notification. Tap on the notification.
2) Will see a USE USB FOR menu with 5 options - Charging , File Transfer, Photo Transfer, Software Installation, MIDI. The default selected was Charging. Change selection to File Transfer.
3) Once that selection is made the AUTOPLAY screen should pop up on the computer. Choose Open device to view files and should now see a screen with files Card and Phone listed.
4) Double click the Card file and should see more files listed. Mine are located in DCIM folder, double click DCIM folder, then double click Camera. Video/pics should be viewable on the PC and now you can transfer or copy etc. (If you do not have microSD card would guess the DCIM file would be listed under Phone instead.)
The bad news is it appears you have to go through this notification process each time you want to transfer the files to your PC, where before the update it was seamless.

Since update to Galaxy s5 a few days ago, my touch screen randomly looses touch. When typing, suddenly all words run together without spaces.I have to double tap the space each time. to get it. When playing game, suddenly have no contact and have to tap screen to get it back. This is irritating. It occurs randomly on any part of the screen Samsung customer service/tech said update can't be undone.

Not complete crap. Still yet, it's a problem only I noticed only after having updated my S5 yesterday. The Screen Mirroring is working. The phone will not connect to the device attached to my tv via Screen Mirroring from the Galaxy S5. But the device connected to my tv will recognize my S5 via the phones wifi direct option. As I was attempting to troubleshoot my external device thinkinhg that it may have been the problem I noticed that not only is the device being recognized by name on my phone, but I was also able to reconfigure the device wirelessly and without bluetooth being enabled. Both the phone itself and the device recognize each other and communicate with each other. As the tv reads that they are attempting to connect as well as does the phone. There is just shown to be a failure without a full connection between the two. Ahain, not a major pobkem for myself. But a noticed problem.

After updating my phone to update G900VVRU2DPD1 a few days ago (don't know if this has anything to do with it or not), yesterday my phone started displaying that the SD card was not supported. I tried powering my phone off and back off but still got the same message. My SD card is a SanDisk 32 gig.
I went by and picked up a new sd card and the new card works in the phone (for now any way). I put my original sd card in an adapter and put it into an USB port on my computer. The computer was not able to read the sd card.
Of course, all my photos were stored on the sd card "for safe keeping". What could have happened to the sd card? It's only about 1 1/2 years old.
Is there any way to recover the data from the sd card?

this latest update is a joke deleted data I had saved on my memory card and none of my apps work, better get fixed soon and I'll be making a complaint about my lost data pictures and videos of my children.

Since the update I m having nothing but problems burns thorough the battery, screren wont light up when you open the phone, the s screen is all screwed up giving full screen and unable to turn the alarm off, 1/3 of my apps come back dark including Kindel reader had to reload each one by myself including the preloaded ones DID ANYONE RUN TEST ON THIS BEFORE RELEASING IT, wi-fi keeps shutting down on it own every dam time I open the phone I have to turn the wi-fi back on in settings, I think that if i had to call 911 in an emergency I don't think I would when screen goes all screwy. This is what I paid good money one year ago $400.00 of CRAP i-phone Next time tried of this my last samsung Galaxy Nexus was same dam thing when THEY wanted to UP Grade!!@!!!!

My phone after update it came up too many problem,the recommended apps was off and i cannot easy to on the wifi or data,if i want on or off the data or wifi i must go to setting first ,it waste my time

Thanks for not even bothering to test out your clownish update.! You set it up to be such a reoccurring pain in the ass to not accept the update - then it fouls up my phone to where my old Bionic does circles around your stuff. When was the last vitally important critical update? About 2 months ago? Probably just an NSA backdoor. Before I leave Android, you should do the decent thing and let people NOT UPDATE!
I'll have to bear in mind from here on out that an "Android update" is actually more akin to getting virused.
Am now NOT going anymore Android - Apple for me from here on out.!

Updated a a day ago, horrible response time on everything.everything . phone worked 100 fine without this garbage update. It has delayed all my text and screen sensitivity. Causing me to be extremely frustrated which resulted in me squeezing my phone until the screen cracked. You should be ashamed of yourself Samsung. People relay on these devices more than ever and you basic bent us over on this one. It's terrible and you should feel terrible.

I have a Samsung 5S. I'm so unhappy with it. It's never worked right. Takes too long to do anything. On top of that when I did the software update it started to freeze. I keep having to shut it off. Can someone tell me if I can undo the update?

Updated my S5 this morning and it activated a new security login that I didn't have active on the phone! Now it's locked up on me. Anyone have ideas how to get past the lock screen?

Updated S5 to Android 6 Marshmallow and Knox has stopped working.
Can not get past start up licence screens in to knox environment
