ohh looky its another andraid os. the android platform is so fragmented that they need to consolidate thier market and make one univeral before shoving out another rushed os to ur faces. look at the failure lollipop is cant even topple prehistoric os varints and now another andraid. this jokers at google need to get a better look at thier fragmented os its almost as bad to look at as strech marks on a lumpy behind. yeah choke on it.

madeandy , 07 May 2015Who gives a damn what M stands for? Lollipop runs on less ... moreReading your comment is so entertaining. Let's break it down...

You reference the Samsung Galaxy S4, which was released two years ago. Most people get new phones by that time.

You also reference the African continent which is a massive continent with roughly 1,110,000,000 people. Yet only 120,000,000 have smartphones. Of that population, how many have the S4? In a recent 2015 study of all smartphone users in Africa, only 17% said they owned a Samsung phone. Let's just say most of the 17% owned the S4, that would only make for 13 million people with the S4 in Africa.

The S4 sold over 80 million units globally. 16.5% in all of Africa, going by these numbers.

After digesting this information, don't you think your perspective might be a little bit off as to what phones and markets get the new version of Android? Samsung is probably not too keen on getting a working version of Lollipop on the S4 for Africa because there just isn't a large amount of people using that phone there. And the people that have this phone are going to get new ones anyways.
