Sony Ericsson Aino pulled out from UK stores just after Satio

The quality of Sony Ericsson phones have always been poor. The labels on the buttons wear out in a few months, which is a joke. This happened to my K800i, K660i, W995, C905, etc...
I switched to Samsung U600 and after two years, it still looks like new. No wonder SE are making a loss every quarter. Sony Ericsson = FAIL.

i have satio and i dont have any problem with is..and i love this phone..os and camera is great..sound is also very rich in head phones..it is pride to have satio..

should do the same with N 97.the lens cover scratch the lens.its a realy problem.

I had a W580i for two years and it worked perfectly throughout. Since four months I have a C901 and no probs with it as well. I love SE phones and my next phone will also be a SE probably X2 or Aino.

i thought the w910i was already the lousiest phone n most problematic phone ever. Besides auto restarting on its own like forever n now it switches off when i slide open the phone. What cool technology from SE. And now Aino. Whats happening to SE ? Im dying to change mine soon. Think twice b4 buying SE phones.

Sony Ericsson have been loosing money for a long time now, seems to me they were told to release these quick by managment you can tell they are not as profesional as Samsung and LG. I rate Samsung and LG pretty much on par with each other they are definately the best touchscreen manufactures although LG does have nicer UI, and lately more inovative, samsungs have the better camera quality. nokia touchscreens phones are also no good poor blocky UI, buggy web browsers, poor touch screen implementation. Look how long it takes sony ericcson and nokia to release a new high end phone and they make such a big fuss about it when they do. Samsung and LG release a slew of high end phones like its nothing.

sorry this is only happening in two supplyers not all over UK and all over the world so SE isn't junk or something else worser. So pls stop judgeing on one tiny thing where were u whene nokia had problems with bad reception or soun or ever bugs ?! so every phone isn't supream because peaople aren't so deal with it.

even i am fan of nokia i was loving the aino bcs of touch on slide may be they r going to come back after the software update bcs it is symbian always symbian will be have software updates

I work in a phone shop I have been amazed by how manyh returns we get of SE handsets over the past 2 years. Barely a single w910 didnt succumb to the inevitable software issues, k850 was even worse and we still get c905s comming back with faulty speakers.
I used to love SE but I have disallusioned by such occurences and theis latest news only further proves that SE need to sort out their quality control and testing.
Remember the keypad on the w580? Shocking.

also there have been many webpages saying that also N97 and satio are pulled from the shelves due to problems.
Aino problem will be fixed very soon, you can check the se website about support update and you will find that firmware update is coming very soon.
there is no similiar thing on the satio.
seem satio is having major problem, while aino will be fixed very soon

I believe one of the problem was when se started shipping bulk of their production from china. Other manufacturers did that too but they have very good qc controls over there which se does not have. And most of their handsets are being outsourced to save manufacturing costs and that results in decreased quality and reliability. Also se is not as u say ''in the zone'' these days as it is not offering innovative products. Having said that se has made some amazing fones in the middle range in the past with great cameras....and those cameras used to work as advertised...i have a nokia e51 at the moment and its camera is so bad that whenever i try to take a picture i feel this strange urge to smash it to a wall whenever i see its result..:(
