Out look is very good & i think 1GB RAM and internal memory is not enaugh.....

Better to get the 2nd Gen over this, if speculation indeed turns into reality.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2015It's a low midrange device u nutGranted that it's not flagship, but the pricing isn't 'low midrange' either. Here, have some nuts.

so the extra bucks for the moto g 2015 over moto e 4g would just be for the bigger screen?
never mind how optimised your phone is u still need more ram for troublefree multitasking.

optional, 11 Jul 2015I have original moto g. I agree with you about camera issue... moreMoto G 1st Generation battery was ok but in second generation they increase the screen size with same battery capacity so its not same as 1st generation performance. One week back i brought Moto E 2nd generation LTE for my younger brother ,its is the best budget phone with great battery life.

I think 1 GB Ram is enough for pure Android OS particularly for Android M because it is built by C and C++, which is contrast to Java in Lollipop. Java programmed firmware are desperately needs more Ram.

moto G first generation was a game changer.
now with other companies offering better phones at that price range....I don;t see motorola succeeding

Wow Motorola , this Moto G sucks badly ! You must build it with at least 2GB of RAM or so , and higher specs , or you can call it Moto E 2015 XL ! I will skip this generation and buy a Zenfone 2 or m1 , or Mi4i . They are better and cheaper .

If this rumor comes true then it will surely going to be a failure for Motorola, processor should be snapdragon 615 and ram should
