Nokia tease with Symbian UI improvements coming in 2010

I Liked symbian when I had a nokia n95 and still do but the ui still looks the same no matter how many facelifts it gets. I think maemo should be the main os for their flagship phones and use s60 for the non flagship devices.

Windows 7 is completely different. The networking code was completely rewritten, kernel is heavily modified for security, IPv6, GPU accelerated interface, UNIX services, rewritten indexing engine, the list is endless....

As good as it is... does the move to touch screen means all phone will become a block? No more clamshell form factor on smartphones (or even feature phone) ?

Did he just say capacitive screens? Oh my. That would upset a lot of Nokia fans. A lot of Nokia fans argue with iphone users that resistive is better than capacitive. I guess those nokia users will again have to change their minds as they always do when Nokia does things the way Apple does :)

I don't like user interface. THey just rearanged screen icons. Nothing different and exiciting. I like htc sense and new se x10 interface much more. But i like symbian OS. Nokia should improve it much more to be eye catching. The interface should be animated. Animation in interface is eye catching for customers and interface is more lovely when u see animations.

nokia is always my secondary phone cause nokia makes good multimedia phones, and blackberry is my primary phone cause making calls and texting is nice on bb thats what bb does best. cant wait NOKIA!!!

i hope they make the phone in the picture some times soon. the OS can be maemo or android i dont rly care (but i doubt nokia will make an android device).
