Sammy did prove Antutu suks....10 000 points of difference in results of testing S6 and it's edge version, even it have same HW.
plus, to get this result, smartphone with this Qualcom's SoC will need to have water cooling to keep it "normal"

At least not a flagship level phone.

The LG G2 had a 5" 1080p screen with a 3,000mAh battery and it only had just "OK" battery life. A battery 10% smaller will suck. Also, 2,700mAh is only 17% bigger than the battery in the first Nexus 5 and the first Nexus 5 has AWFUL battery life. If I can get 2.5 hours SOT after 10 hours off the charger that was a REALLY good day.

The difference between 720 and 1080 on a 5" screen probably wouldn't be noticeable and even if it was it would be pretty minor and a fair trade off for the increased battery life. Especially if the rumor of only a 2,800 or 2,900mAh battery is true and LG likely using IPS LCD.

At 1080p on a 5" screen that is 440ppi. The human eye can't distinguish between pixels that small so it certainly couldn't distinguish between pixels that are even smaller as is the case with QHD. Advancements in technology are great if they actually provide a benefit. Advancement just for the sake of advancement or as a gimmick to get people to buy something new is stupid. Plus, battery life is already bad enough. Why waste extra power pushing all those extra pixels you can't even see? If current rumors are right the Nexus 5 (2015) will have a 2,800 or 2,900mAh battery and since it's being made by LG it will likely be an IPS LCD. A 2,800 or 2,900mAh battery powering a 5" 1080p IPS LCD is already going to have bad enough battery life as it is. A QHD screen will just make battery life worse. Look at the LG G3 and G4. They both have a 3,000mAh battery with a 5.5" QHD IPS LCD and the battery life sucks.

From f.king now on samsung is dead for me, I've cancelled uhd tv order and also will do for mobile contract which was waiting for Note 5 but it will never come because it changed to a bull shit.
Keep making shit 5 phones samsung, you'll sell them to kids as toys.

Nice try troll. The body is very sturdy with small bezels and cannot be bent like the iP6P or GN4, the battery can last over a day with moderate use since 5.1, and nobody's been complaining of burned-in screens.

this is exciting, I've wondered how awesome the new nexus devices were going to be and now we have the answer, I can't wait to upgrade my Nexus 5 to the 2015 edition!
