Many people prefer the beuty of the "gimmick" that wraps around around the curved screen and make it look unique. I bet that if Apple was the one that came with a curved screen YOU wouldn't should up about Apple having the best design ever.

That Edged portion could be used as a ticker with the right kind of help from XDA people! It can also be used as a bedside time clock! Those two reasons are more than enough to call it not a gimmick!
Besides what Nokia phone had true curved display at first place I wonder!

Don't know what Sammy is at these days. These two phones look like a Space Gray and a Gold iPhone stacked on top of one another. And now the new name makes it sound like the "plus" version of the smaller original -- just like the iPhone 6 and 6+. Smh.
