I'm a bit - just a tiny bit - skeptic about the battery times which are described here... 16Hrs HD video via HDMI? YEA RIGHT. Not even in 3 years from now, unless we'd be carrying around hydrogen fuel-cell batteries by then...

Anything beyond 12mp is useless even from a dedicated still camera... but when a chipset claims 20mp it can be related to similar levels of image quality resulting from the good processing... with ofcourse a lot of good software... anyway, what im saying is, this is totaly different from samsung or sonyericsson saying '12MP NOW ON YOUR PHONE'

As a piece of technology, it sounds a powerful chip. Although I myself always go against the mp numbers and focus on the quality but the problem always is in business. Regular public melts hearing the massive numbers in mp camera and buy products without giving a thought about quality. Fine example is low-cost point and shoot cameras that has 8+ mp are in more sale than good brands only because of higher mps.
Personally I would like to see use of this chip with up to 12mp pictures along side all other features it is offering.

wow all that from s single chip, looks promising and feels like its real HD and none of that glitching frames per second stuff.

8 mpixel would be enough for a camera but what mobiles really need is optical zooming and strong flash

In three/four years time, mobile phones would make laptops, PMPs, cameras and GPS look outdated... we will be looking at devices that not only perform all the functions, but perform them well enough to make spending on anything separate pointless.

I also think people should concern about the quality of the camera lens, image processor, low light performance & colour accuracy etc etc. I saw that a 8mp camera of sony, canon or kodak can take picture much much better than a 12mp mobile camera like SE satio or samsung pixon. More pixel in camera mobile is like a Core i7 processor with only 1GB ram...lolz
No matter how big file a person upload in a Facebook album, it always converted into a 640x480 sized photo, which means 0.3mp

anyways, i came here to "actually" comment on the forum not write 1st/2nd/3rd or complain about those who write them...
20mp is ridiculous...people take pictures & upload on sites like facebook & all...but all those sites compresses the pictures anyways...it's not the size it's the quality of the picz that matters to me...i aint gonna make a big poster out of the pics so screw the Mps. lol
