note 4 with snapdragon 805 does not heat up even while playing amazing spiderman 2 over wifi for hours and asphalt 8 or modern combat 5 for hours. I have experienced it myself.Every phone heats up if you install too much of useless apps and dont clean junk and boost phone at regular intervals by clean master and also close all tasks opened before playing a game,by clearing ram and end all tasks you can prevent and make lot better and sure that note 4 wont heat up, i have experienced it.If you download and install apps by popular brands with more than millions download and only download one of a kind not two or three of same kind then there wont be hanging or heating issues are there wont be any conflict going on in your phone. As installing antivirus or battery eating task killer apps or launchers other than stock launchers or too many trucaller or locking apps like vault applock all at same time nobody can prevent your phone heating even if its snapdragon 900 after few years.Hope this solves your problem and i am not fan boy of apple or samsung sony htc or anyone but i am telling only what i have and what i have experienced myself.Just keep everything as simple as it can be like simple pattern lock or fingerprint lock on phone and not too much burden on ram with apps which continuosly runs in background even after closing heats the phone.I never got msg on my phone that wait for cooldown because i optimize it well and maintain it well.if any questions let me know.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2015except no. The problem is way worse in S810. And again all ... moreNot being able to play games for a lengthy period is not being able to play games for a lengthy period, it doesn't matter if the 810 is worse at not being able to play games for a lengthy period since I haven't seen any Samsungs able to do it either :(. I just want a phone that I can play graphically intensive games on for over 10 minutes without overheating, I don't care about price, I don't care about weight, I don't care if it's not thin and I don't care about QHD, so it shouldn't be this hard to find a phone capable of that, but all the phones "capable" of playing graphically intensive games seem to have overheating problems including the Samsungs so I don't see why Samsung owners think their phone is any better than an 810.

And if you aren't playing graphically intensive games then why would you need such a high end SoC?

I'm pretty sure we'll see at least 3 s820 devices before the year is over, remember that we all expected the s800 to launch at the end of 2013 but Sony was able to launch the Z Ultra in Summer of that year. Plus the 'delays' have been nothing but rumors, Qualcomm has maintained that the 820 launch is moving ahead as planned, which is to say expect devices using it before the year is out

Its only mostly the Exynos in S4 and S5 varients that were weaker in graphics and not quite as efficient.
before and after those ones are a whole other story.

And they had plenty of aosp support

The issue is that the S810 does it a lot and has to throttle a lot to compensate. And thats with most of them being underclocked as it is.

Now what you did is just being a foolish fan person.
Its a legit thing and its complained about by everyone. not just by samsung fans trlling

AnonD-246216, 05 Aug 2015Nice try troll. :)I'm serious, sure the 810 is worse for heat, you'll get no argument from me about that, but every time I see someone playing a game on a Samsung they get that overheating message in just a few minutes, being better than the 810 doesn't mean the Samsungs are good, they are also terrible at dealing with heat, just a little less so than the 810. So Samsung owners saying the 810 overheats too much is like someone who is 4'11" tall calling someone who is 4'10" short.

Anonymous, 05 Aug 2015They improve only Hi-end SoC's not entry and mid class. The... moreThere's a reason why it's called "Low" and "Mid" end with such specs.
                                  And it's called [BUDGET]
If QSD will improve their low and mid end processors like what you have advised, prices will soar. It will definitely hurt those budget concerned people who only uses phones for Calls, SMS and Light browsing
If you're after higher spec'd GPUs (which I strongly assume for gaming and media), please do NOT look for low and mid-range phones.

BTW why do Samsung fans hate on the 810 for overheating? All the Samsung devices overheat really badly too, I'm sick of seeing those messages saying you have to wait for the phone to cool down :(.
