Samsung and Google promise monthly security updates from now on

            If your phone dont get regular updates then there is no security update. Only latest phones to get forget old phones they dont care. In this sense Apple is better.

Also, "regularly, about once a month" is not a definitive, binding statement and if they're not willing to make a concrete statement at this point, their track record says they will never do it... I'd bet my house on it.

                                  Samsung will regularly release update for its devices running Froyo and newer OS? For a company like Samsung, it's just impossible.
