Samsung Galaxy Note5 brings Exynos 7420, ultra-sleek body

13 August, 2015
The new design is all metal and glass. The chipset and camera have been lifted from the Galaxy S6 too.

I think that slot micro sd card is best for me .not extra sd that mean design like iphone and copy from iphone.

So disappointing. Basically the same specs as the S6 but way more expensive. No microSD, Only 3000Mha (non-removable) battery. Same processor as S6, same resolution... No TV remote anymore..... And who gives a sh*t to swipe cards, when in Europe we use chip & pin and NFC.
I've been used to compromise the very slow android updates from Samsung and crapware as a trade-off for greatest specs, but this time I'm very disappointed...

All previous Galaxy Notes have more features and options than this "Note5". No way of getting something that's less in battery, less in features, and less in storage.

With only 64GB maximum version, this falters over the 32GB Note 3 or 4 +128GB micro SD card.

They took out the infrared remote controller too? Definitely the Note 4 is more logical and sensible to get at $500 now than spend $700 on something than so lower in features.

3000mAh for 5.7" QHD screen? No microSD card? Total failure! Even note3 is better than this.

Whoever thought at Samsung a Note 5 would be an evolution with a smaller battery, non removable and then to have the max base model 64GB with No SD card needs to be marched outside to report for cleaning the car park duty. Waited 6 month out of contract should have just got the Note 4.

Anyway some people will buy it and good luck to you but i just can not imagine how this will increase revenue against Apple or wont decrease loosing customer to other andriod manufacturers phones?

Whole thing utterly bizarre. Understandable for the S series but not the Note IMO.

So after note 2 then 3 and now 4 im hoping that this piece of shiny junk flops and note 6 next year goes back to being note series not s series xl with s pen.

No thank you...... I will stick with my Note 4. Being an outdoor person, I relay on battery life rather than charging them frequently. I hope we might see an expandable memory option and a good battery life in the next gen Galaxy S line or Note series.....

Phone 1: has SD card, 3220 mAh battery (removable), fast processor.
Phone 2: has no SD card, 3000 mAh battery (non-removable), but has "wireless charging".
You still have to find a wireless charger, they just save you from plugging in the cord

Everything else is pretty much the same, both phones are fast, more than enough.

So - where is the upgrade? IMHO, going from #1 to #2 is a downgrade...!

I wonder why samsung wait 5 months to introduce this phone. It can be launched alongside galaxy s6.(same specs)
