It's not worth it. They should put there at least 3,5" capacitive screen.

END OF DAYS for Sony-Eric. What a Bad Timing to Launch a Awful Device like this when other are launching Better and more future friendly. I think until WinMo 7 releases we can just ignore any phone that has windows. no matter how sexy the phone looks. Now a days its all The Software Platform which has more value over the looks.

the problem with this phone is the OS and is going to be as laggy as the X1. the moment you take it out of the box it will become obselete because it might not get the upgrade to wm6.5.1 or whatever it's called. the X10 has a better hardware and could come with android 2.0 with possible upgrades over the year. with microsoft you have to get a new phone every time there is any change. Am aware of XDA but many like me would appreciate an OFFICIAL upgrade from the manufacturer.
this is why i sold my diamond2 for a hero. i liked the diamond2 but wm6.5 didnt seem much different from wm6.1, infact it slowed my phone down further. for winmo fans they're better waiting a month or two for better phones with capacitive screens and the newer version of wm6.5 to be released soon on new devices.
SE and MS are the same, they offer great promises but delivery little. wm7 was set for atleast a year ago but it might not even come this year. when MS find out that apples and googles OS's have raised the bar even further this will prompt MS to delay the release while it works on trying to add new features. they will always play catchup until it releases wm7 and offer regular updates for improvement.

This phone is perfect! I just love it's user interface! Especially the original Sony Ericsson ones. And that 8MP camera is perfect! That large screen is sooo perfect for multi-media! The qwerty keyboard looks really good to type on! And most of all the phone looks really sleek and sexy! You can do alot of things on this phone! It will surely keep you entertained! It for multi-media, texting, internet, and just about everything. I can't wait for the X10 to come out next!

a lot of people need to sort out their family and personal issues rather than going to war and taking it out on people here.
I'm sure animals will be more polite if they had access to the forums.
Why do people act tough when in real world they arent, gangsters of the forums

X10 is a pearl, even for people like me I think who are not too much into full touchscreen handsets but it doesn't make X10 any less than extraordinary. X10 has its ground to cover while X2 has its own ground to play.
However I do WANT to have that Timescape/Mediascape UI on X2. I am sure people will be doing something or SE might provide it officially soon.

These kind of people make the worst leaders in the world. They put some standards on other that they don't want to bear themselves.

Anonymous, 04 Jan 2010who are you to say which phone is better? for a lot of user... morewho are you to say which phone is better? well i work for orange business and sell phones to companys all day long... yes you are correct diffrent people require diffrent services from there phones, the x10 is better then the x2 in a number of ways including:
1gb internal storage comared to 110 MB internal with the x2
faster HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps internet X2= HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps
Snapdragon 1 GHz processor VS Qualcomm MSM 7200 528 MHz processor
HTML browser compared to X2's WAP 2.0
Timescape/Mediascape UI for managing your communications (including social networking) and your multimedia content.
also it is widely regarded that the android OS far exceeds the WM OS
" Choosing Android is smart move by Sony Ericsson, since the OS is still new and developing, with free open-source code and a growing App Market. And most importantly, it's not plagued by the Windows Mobile or Symbian legacy"
hope that clears things up for you a bit!!!!
