This was a great keynote on many fronts. Apple has launched devices in each segment that will further cement it's lead and even push it forward.

Why? Because in this keynote, Apple didn't just launch hardware, but integrated hardware+software solutions that Android manufacturers cannot match.

Apple has been getting better and better at this, and customers are beginning to notice the difference to just Android phones.

Only the back is colored and the front is still white. Look like sandwiches with one bread absent. The rose gold still look too pink for me. It remind me of salmon sushi. They keep copying android and tweak it a little. Force Touch from Huawei. Quietly reintroducing it as 3D Touch. Gimmicky naming of new feature. 5mp front camera which is android trend. Front display used as flash; android used real led flash. Two times faster Touch ID? How much faster does it need to go? Pointless race on making speedy fingerprint sensor. Finally introducing 4k recording, android done that years ago. Only 12mp rear camera and already over exagerating on its 50% more pixels? Lastly, copying Samsung LTE-Advanced. No need to mention MiMo to change the subject.

Well for those complaining about specs...

Apple was never really in the specs war like android companies...
The reason is simple... They dont need to. When the same company makes the hardware and software or OS(like apple does).. Its a better intergration than what android manufacturers get.
Kinda like love marriage over arranged.
      Well jokes apart..
So iOS doesn't really need 4gb of RAM to be butter smooth or blazing fast. 1gb is enough for iOS, mostly because of the lack of customisation.. But that isnt really a thing to complain..its preference.
I personally like making my phone unique but I know a lot of people who dont give a damn about customising.

Next up camera..Now I too used to mock my friends who own 5s and 6 about a flagship phone having just 8mp ...something budget androids provide...but it was actually an eye opener if you see the camera quality of iphones...dont believe me? Check it put yourself at some electronics shop or if any pf your friends own one..you will be impressed!

Their 8 mp(i6) was ONE OF THE BEST matched and bettered by just Samsungs S6's 16 and Sony's z3's 20.7 and a lumia I cant seem to remember.. Rest dont match it.
Hence Im sure the 12 mp will once again be in the top 3-4 camera's in smartphones...

So its not like a camera is supposed to impress in specsheet but in actual use..apple manages the latter..which really counts.

Screen is once again going crazy in the specs war...Z5 reached 4k which was like invented 2 years ago reserved for 55 inch Huge LED Tvs...frankly thats where it belongs if you want the true 4k experience... A 5.5 inch will be heavenly to look at with 4k but its a very minor upgrade over even full hd(sony fans hating me already? See any z5 vs z5 premium video since it hasnt yet launched in many countries) its a minor quality upgrade... Huge innovation! I repeat its a HUGE INNOVATION to pack 4k in 5.5 inches but its only a small improvement over full HD. And if you consider the battery usage of a 4k display you might wonder should I stick to a Full HD phone instead?

Thats how apple went with their phones. They stuck to full Hd( 6s plus) because even though you will know theres QHD and UHD out there.. But at a pocketable size .. Its very minor improvements in exchange of precious battery life. Some people wont even percieve the difference of QHD over FHD.

And as for the i6 , its somewhere slightly higher than 720 p display makes crisp enough display that you wont complain unless you are looking at the specs rather than the screen.

Lastly when you consider the battery...
Yeah 1700 mah is no where close to what androids offer ...but its lower res screen , more efficient processor with "just 1gb" of RAM doesnt really need that much power as some QHD android with 3-4 gbs of RAM.

So even though it isnt going to set standards ... Apples battery wont be any worse than the current crop of android flagships.... That still doesnt stop Apple from packing larger batteries but I guess some brands just dont give you everything.. Disappointing though.

Innovations are there.. But its about what you consider as innovation.
Bumping up specs beyond control is not innovation.. Its bringing something new to the product which was missing before
( like edge screen is one..good job by sammy)..and not just improving on the existing.

How many of you love the fingerprint sensor on your phones? I love it(the feature) even though I dont have a phone which offers :( ... But what Im trying to say is ..that was innovation.. To include a finger print sensor on your phone..
Many brands have followed ( xperia series got it this time around...samsung perfected its with the s6) however apple had a really good one 2 years ago in the 5s...

Usb type -c is just another modified version of their own "lightning connector". Apple innovation again.

Now Im not really sure how much the force touch is essential only because I feel the android execution of touch or tap ... And long touch or press does the job well... Both can be easily distinguished and they do different tasks.
But maybe I might change my mind after seeing.. And as for androids offering force touch? Its just the Huawei mate S ...which if you see its video..seems quite redundant... As if they are forcing you to use the force touch(no pun intended) where you didnt really need to.

Lastly yeah Apples are expensive! A bit too much.. But its the consumers fault! The brand sets the price...the consumers are still lining up to buy the exorbitantly priced phones!

I blame apple for android flagships reaching nearly 1000 $ mark because apple showed them people will still buy it.

Phones shouldnt be so expensive.. As their usage life is only 2-3 years ..so why do you price it like it will last you for 5 years.(by that time the current flagship will seem like a paperweight).

But thats one thing only consumers can change.

But apple does offer you software updates longer than any android flagship gets.

And Im sure many of you will call me iSheep and etc! Let me clear it up for you... NOT AN APPLE FAN! There are plenty of things I dont really like.. For example : the dependency on iTunes.. I would prefer if they never ever reqd a laptop or mac in iphones usage... And the lack of customisation or the not so powerful multitasking(if you can call that multitasking :p)..

So Apple has room for improvement... Then again which brand doesnt?

Im sure plenty of you will not read the comment because its way too long..sorry guys...I can't stick to any word limit...do give it a read though . Thanks

Price is hard to predict but wont be cheaper than the current iphone 6 pricing..
Expect 50000 for 16 gb for the 6s
And 57000 for the 16gb variant of 6s plud

Is it arrogance on the part of Apple to go for Lower speed Processors hiding behind OS and pathetic 1GB RAM though claims to be good performance as background Apps stops to save space, why don't they increase to at least 2GB?
The 3D opening of messages in to a popup style is there already in other phones.

It's nice that Apple is putting OIS in the regular iPhone 6 now and not just the 6 Plus. That was a huge stupid omission in the original iPhone 6.

But the problem iPhone cameras has been and will continue to be the physical sensor size (if you don't understand the difference between physical sensor size and megapixels, look up "image sensor format" in Wikipedia).

Because Apple insists on making the thinnest phones with little to no camera hump, it is not possible to get a sensor in the phone of reasonable size. They are still using 1/3 sensors, when pretty much all flagship Android phones have moved on to 1/2.3 sensors (which are almost twice as large in physical area). This is the same technology that was in the iPhone 5. And the technology was first introduced in phones in the Nokia N93 in 2006. So this is really old technology.

At the end of the day for color accuracy, low light sensitivity, and noise nothing beats physical sensor size. This is a fact of light, optics, and physics that no special Apple magic will overcome.

(To be fair Apple doesn't even make their own sensors, they get them from Sony--but they are far from Sony's best sensors, which nonetheless can be found in Sony's Xperia, the Samsung Galaxy and Note phones, and many other phones).

I don't really seen the solution for Apple though. Either they will have to make thicker phones, accept a camera hump, or change the physical laws of the universe.

U will tap and hold until it starts moving. Now u want to show options on holding the app. U cant assign tap and hold to 2 things. Another example: u can tap and hold on a message to select it but at the same time u cant assign the same tap and hold to preview. All tap and hold actions on android and ios provides u with options and then futher u can select the option u want to use. With 3d touch u can assign different fuctions by applying different pressure. So now u have tap,tap and hold, light pressure, heavy pressure all these actions assigned to different use. This will save time
