AnonD-305262, 10 Sep 2015Sorry friend no matter what you say the truth is Androids lagMy friend's iPhone 5S lags like there's no tomorrow, much much more than my HTC one(M7). it takes 10 seconds to open the youtube app and then it lags another 5 seconds before it will actually open the search bar after you press it. So, sorry friend, but no matter what you said, in my experience iPhones lag much more than Android devices after a few months.

Not true until teardown is done the adobe news for 4GB ram is not true they now made the correction and removed that information

A split second when an app that I've opened before refreshes. I don't mind that, considering that even the refreshing takes less than opening the app on some other phones.
And, yes they do have strong ties in design. But personally I don't like glass. Metal is much nicer. Something like on iPhone 6/ HTC One M9 is beautiful. And I can't wait to see what will 2016 bring. With new displays, processors and more memory on the way, they will be much better than any of the phones today (hopefully). And some people should take it easy... In the end of the day, it's the competition that motivates OEMs to make phones this good. And as difference in iOS/Android features has never been smaller it will be very exciting to see what's next. But still, these are just phones and there are more important things in life. At the end all companies want just one thing. Money.

KitKat is somewhat better, S5 on Lollipop has only occasional lags (my friend has one) while in 3 months I've never seen my S6 lag. TW is much more optimized on 2015 (flagship) phones.

Coz, I'm comparing them to my iPhone 6. The 6s duo was revealed yesterday only and we are yet to see how that fares.
And S6 is the best Android device at the moment, if I leave out the Note5. But even you kind of agreed that Ram and memory management is a problem even with the latest Android OS. It will hopefully get solved with Android 6.0.
All companies take inspiration from each other. The S6 design has strong ties to the iPhone 4/4s designs, the materials chosen. HTCs all metal M7/M8/M9 were inspired by iPhone 5/5s all metal body.

Although I've never seen a Note5 and held it in my hands, I've seen it in reviews and it appears just as fast or even faster than S6 that I own. Maybe try comparing to another Note5. Or maybe it's a software glitch that could be fixed in a software update.

And anyone talking about bad performance of Exynos 7420 is simply stupid. Everyone knows it's the best CPU of 2015 (we'll see how it compares to A9, but stil...) 3 Gigs of RAM is enough for me as I've never seen it lag (I own one) and RAM managment problem can be fixed and will be fixed in Android Marshmallow.
And since everyone is talking about copying, then what is the 6 Plus, just a (bending) attempt of creating a phablet. Force/3D touch is not an iPhone innovation or anything as it already exists in Android since Gingerbread, but in form of a long touch and not pressing. Again, if there was no copying then we would probably never had phones this advanced... So, I don't mind. I love Android and I love Samsung (Galaxy S6, nothing else from them). But if any day Apple creates a better phone (which it still hasn't that suits my needs) I'll buy it that instant.

AFAIK iPhones have never had any problem regarding RAM capacity. I am wondering what makes Apple doubles the RAM, as iOS doesn't handle tasks in true parallel processing for each app running.
Well, making it the same as last year won't stop them from charging it very high anyway...

He sold it off and got iPhone 5. And Samsung somehow optimises the Note phones better than the Galaxy phones. I will wait in line for the iCrap no doubt, will see you bragging about how Samsung moved to 4/6 GB Rams in 2016 and how so much Ram is actually a necessity for the new force touch display that Samsung will surely copy from Apple. They copied 64-bit architecture, they copied Touch ID and finally Apple pay.

Actually what apple fans say is true, use listen to them. We don't really have to argue the facts about iPhones
When iPhone has the best pixel screen, they say they have the best screen than other competitors. When iPhone has a normal screen, the fans said, we do not need better screen.
When iPhone has the best batteries, they say android phones have lousy batteries. When they have the really normal batteries, they do not need a big battery.
When iPhone has the fastest performance, they are truly proud of their phones. If other phones have better performance in future, they gonna say they do not such speed to operate their phone.
If iPhone has an external SD slot in future, they will say they have the best SD slot in the world. Now the fact is iPhones do not have the slots, they say they do not need it.
IPhones are not waterproof, they say they are not gonna bath or swim with the phones. If iPhones are waterproof in future, they say their phones are great!
Get a life guys... Just enjoy what you have!! Cheers

I'm not a Samsung fan either, in fact I hate them for their Touchwizz and Knox, but to say that it takes half a minute for an app to be fired up on S4 it's pure bullshit. I didn't have an S4, but a Note 3, that has the same hardware but in a larger form, and it has never done what you're claiming. So take your bashing and go wait in the line for the new iCrap with the rest of the sheep

Last year, as per almost all reviews, the iPhone 6 duo smoked up all Android flagships with its dual core/1GB Ram architecture. This year, the (most likely) quadcore/2GB Ram will scorch the Exynos 7420 in all likelihood.
What do you get by bragging about hexa/octa core processes and 3/4GB Rams? Does your Android phone open mails and FB or Whatsapp apps at the speed of light??
