I'm seriously wondering how in the world Apple manages to get only 2/3 of mobile payments when they're the only payment system I know of currently available in the US. Regardless of current situation, all banks support and worldwide roll-outs will come in the next 3-6 months, but Magnetic strip support for Apple pay won't. Ever, considering that by the end of the month you'll be able to use Samsung pay in at least 10 times more locations than Apple pay( in the US) I'll have to argue there's a clear winner here.

All reviewers said that the fingerprint sensor that debuted on S5 was a 50 percent success whereas Touch ID was spot on every single time. It was because if the flaws with the first generation fingerprint sensor in S5 that S6 uses a more conventional Apple-esqe fingerprint sensor.
And where did you get to learn that Samsung pay is better than Apple pay?? All major banks and stores in U.S. Support Apple pay whereas Samsung pay and Google wallet are nowhere near.

But having an open ecosystem means that you are more prone to viruses and stuff. Plus almost everyone on here will agree that apps are better optimised for iPhones. Instagram in fact, was developed with the iOS in mind and later moved to Android and then Windows. Now, I can live with a restrictive ecosystem, but I also get to run the best games and apps that developers develop.

The reality here is: what do you DO with your photos?

Arguably, 98% of users upload said photos to some sort of online service, be that Facebook, Instagram, etc. or send them via iMessage, WeChat, WhatsApp, Viber.

In which case - they'll be compressed and down sampled, and all that extra detail is lost and your photos simply use up more space on your phone than necessary.

As for those of you, myself included, that actually download the photos to a Mac or PC and then use them in other ways, megapixels are important. But then again, even an 8Mpx photo can still be used to print A3. And yes, I do own a Canon A3 printer. Who else does?

AnonD-191847, 10 Sep 2015@Agh85 Maybe because 64-bit architecture on the iphone was... moreSamsung's first "swipe" fingerprint reader was a disaster. But they learned quickly, as did everyone else.
Samsung Pay is in theory compatible with magnetic stripe readers, yet where has it launched as of now? Perhaps South Korea. And plans on launching in the US, finally, end of September with only a handful of banks. In the meantime, Apple Pay is responsible for 2/3 of mobile wallet payments.

Camera: it's hard to debate that Samsung's camera is great.

Premium design: Apple's always had a premium design, but then again, a view on design is a personal matter and as such, kudos to Samsung for trying something new. That's not trumping Apple in any way though.

Chinese manufacturers are giving Samsung a run for their money too, and Samsung is quickly losing the battle in China. VERY quickly. Whilst Apple is gaining.

[deleted post]they might be in the top 5 when it comes to colors, but megapixels are hugely important. With a high megapixel camera like Samsung, LG and Sony have, you can capture a lot more details than with that 8 or 12 MP iPhone camera, megapixels alone aren't about color quality, but rather how much you can zoom and how many details you can capture and how sharp your images will look, that means that no matter how good the Iphone's camera is, it's unsuited for medium/long distance shots, sceneries, anything that requires fine detail, really.
