If last time they said it was released in HK, and this time it was released in HK and China, it means it was not released in China last time. China is a big place, and by including it the numbers would go up. But perhaps the number excluding China still went up, I don't know. It was just a statement that normal people would understand, wasnt meant for you.

Also, no one could get one in the first week last year, because it was always sold out. This year is different, I could order 2 the first day.

Hong kong was a British colony until 2013, since then it is in CHina

If you pay attention to the iphone news in China, no one lined up at their apple store. Even in Hong Kong, merely few hundred people line up and 99% of them were planning to resell it to China. I smell fishy on the number.

I dont know why people hate Apple so much? I had 2 android phones in the last two years and i plan to move to iOS as soon as possible... much better os... yes, i know how to root and stuff and i know that android more customazable but i need something simpler :)

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 6 across several more countries on 26 September, following its initial launch on 19 September in the US, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
Before Apple fans start randomly attacking me I don't feel any pleasure or displeasure by looking at profits or anything. The only time I would care is the brand I liked looked like it would go bust or something. Personally I would use the device that I want to use for its intrinsic value, not which one is popular. But I know the heard mentality cares about how popular their brand is.

I can't imagine how many sells will have with the iPhone 7 if they learn what design flaws are from iphone 6/6s..those antennas etc

I don't know why people are so happy when a company sells so many phones are these companies going to give us any share in the profit!!!
Even i own an iphone 5s but apple sales don't drive me crazy
