So they are actually not sold yet to end users..

I am astonished that so many people are prepared to pay so much for something that is so over priced and essentially little more than a status symbol. But then I'm not the sort of person who would buy a Rolex watch or a flashy car either.

i don't quite get this, ios only runs on iphones and iphones only use ios. Mean time Android runs on every other brand and device (apart from the silly microsoft thingy). So you're telling me apple sold more phones than all these brands combined i.e sony,samsung,htc etc?
