I think the vendor thing is just testing. The main reason "i've only heard" is to replace USB at home. The persona home pad will be smaller, you just come home and put your Nokia on the pad and it do the normal unsb related stuff you usually do.

This is actually pretty good, you can just put your phone on friends nokiapad at his house and take stuff or like update firmware, moviemedia and heavier on the go stuff from Nokia vendors all over the world if you are somewhere u don't have your PC with u and you. 20mb/sec without usb is not a joke, it's really fast, that's like 5 mp3 songs a second.

I hope they integrate charging from the same pad an ti will be great. Having in mind Nokia is buying Palm this year, that technology from Palm should be integrated, i hope.

Notice the lack of enthusiasm on his face when he says toward the end: ''Sounds great, doesn't it?'' which speaks volumes about how he feels this is pretty much irrelevant. Note the sarcastic jargon in the tone of his voice.....

it's just like adding stuff to your phone over a wi-fi connection, so it's like the same tech, but with a different name
