And we come to Android. Its good. very good and very customisable and user friendly. Google jumped in with good preparaion and when a good reputed company jumps into a market the share is always lost by the people who have the largest share, So its no big deal for Nokia or symbian. They can make their own android phones and avoid situation getting out of hand. Can the vulture iphone make an Android phone? He He He. How good is iphone OS really? if Nokia was not disputing with qualcomm and got access to their processors before iphone symbian would be way ahead by now.

The iphone is a good phone!!!
But the iphone users are retards who paid so much for their worthless phones that they are bound to defend it lest people call them foolish and then end up with so much advocacy that when they have to buy a new phone, they buy the same one again.
So apple is clever, users are not.

All symbian bashers, answer a simple question. Name one phone which is not symbian and can be reflashed OTA (over the air) in 15 mins on a gsm network without losing any information whatsoever without taking a backup to a computer or a memory card.
If you dont have the answer, SHUT UP till you find it.

Imagine.. North american Telcos promoting Motorola which uses 1 standard (V3) die and makes phones which used to look good once, features are ridiculously old (like a 1.3 Meg camera). Then people do buy them. They for 65% of overall market in USA but what about globally? NIL. as much as i hate the iphone, there is a certain segment the iphone caters to and keeps them happy, does not aim to be an everybody's phone. Apple knows what they are doing but loudmouth users like to compare it with other phones half its price and twice the features and still brag about it. But I really detest Motorola man, the North American Market is screwed owing to them.

Symbian is dying. Android, which came out 2 years ago has a better interface than this. I wont even mention how much better the new Windows Phone is going to be. Nokia only has so much market share because they sell cheap phones that are practically free, phone that are very EASY to switch away from. They better come up with something better than this or their going to be killed like how Sony was pushed out of the MP3 market by Apple!!

symbianOS60v1 nokia 6600,
symbianOS60v2 nokia 6800,
symbianOS60v3 nokia N95, N85, N96, N80 N86 and more?
Symbian60v3.OSv9.5 for touch UI or OS60v5 in short, for N97, N97mini, n5800xm and more.
The new OS will be SymbianOS60v4 for sure, and maybe menu old software will not work with it,just like it happen in the past with different OS's but they can be easy to deploy anyway.
MeeGo OS is going to bee much more advanced system, it will be automated with most other home devices wirelessly connected when you enter home will start your Stereo radio or TV to display wot you have dun all day, or just play music after preferences you have set, or if you go near by computer, it will automatically synchronize your stuff for you, no need for you to touch on screen option wot do you want to do, and have possibilities multitask things to run on screen like a big computer, otherwise to have a MeeGo device is complete computer and the phone, so you don't need a desktop PC only LCD TV screen and keyboard when you are at home if you prefer, so that is still testing and will be surprise to other OS's.

Then you complain this does not work, that does not work. Because, most providers in Aus, US and UK customise their firmware to gibe advantages like free browsing or free calls or free skype etc etc etc. This firmware version is not available anywhere on the market but specific to service provider. Ofcourse these phones cannot be updated with base nokia software as that would mean losing the other candy. Sorry guys, you got to buy a phone that is not locked and then can avail features...

The marketing behind symbian is a bit of a joke by nokia. For such an advanced operating system the amount for people i speak too just don’t have a clue what it is. Nokia should change their splash screen when powering up their phones to promote symbian. For god’s sake we know we’ve got a nokia phone. What’s symbian? Tell your Millions (no billion) of users.

North America and Aus are the worst mobile markets for consumers, best for the manufacturers. Give a free portal, add some bonus software, keep it on a contract for ""FREE"" and then suck the blood out of the user for the bill. And HTC/iphone users with their AMEX cards are the most suitable targets. Some people just can't learn to drain their providers dry... too susceptible.
