Nokia is even trying to improve its Software on its mobiles,an every company should have there own, thats why Samsung is trying Bada, but Sony Ericsson will not even invest to get there own software created,so the New Symbian Software should just be allowed on just Nokia mobiles not the other produces,as its only Nokia Trying there best to make the Symbian sofware easier an faster to use,if Nokia gets pulled down by nearly everyone then buy a different mobile an then realise the Symbian software is simple an easy to use

my god. everyday people come on here just to knock nokia and hump steve jobs.

Yeah iPhone has a stupidly fluid ui.... get over it. the other brands offer way more in terms of ability to do things and let the user stay in control. if there was no symbian, maemo/MeeGo or winmo you'd all be sheep in the big brother house.

oh and it says this is not a final product... a demo... a sneak peek.

....anyway off to visit some flashbased websites on my handset.

They know who you are, where u are, where u are going and where u have been. what you watch on youtube your fav searches and websites, interests. Android has allow them spy on you with the help of google maps, search and youtube, gmail and soon buzz……

At the moment Symbian is the only truly open source software available to used by manufactures who want to make mobile phones.

Nokia and its Symbian OS has been sleeping for many years while other phone companies where working hard to build real touchscreen OS. But now it is too late, bye bye Nokia...

There was Symbian S60 in leading, then iPhone OS, then Android.

But what was interesting that 85% of Symbian buyers chose their phone because they liked it (feel good, look, build quality) or was recommended, not preferring the OS. Only 40% know that there is Symbian S60 inside it.

iPhone (all versions) users buy because they find it cool and/or easy to use. 80% of them knows about iPhone OS and many knows its limitation. Still they buy it.

Android buyers are all different scenario. More than 98% knows about the OS. Though, 20% do not know about its limitations.

So, although a lot of people bye smartphones today, only a portions of them are smart users (specially Symbian users). Of all users of all platform 20% used it extensively as a smartphone, 45% use it reluctantly, and rest 35% do not know they are holding a smartphone.
