Most likely Cortex A72 based high Freq cores rather than A57 based ones in Exynos 7420. A72 is much better at the same power envelope as A57 targets.
Atleast Mediatek wisely decided to stay away from A57 totally and put full resources on their Deca Core X20 which contains 2xA72 + 4xA53 + 4xA53.
Good job Huawei in bringing the A72 cores up front to the market.

Still slower single core operation.
Hmm hope Quallcomm improve on this.

Impressive achievement for huawei given their later entry in the premium segment and their cheaper prices, but I'm doubtful of the SD820, it'll probably do much better than that.
