Things like efficiency, temperature control, cache size, 64bit, etc can make it a more powerful SoC. This is why the SD800-805 are used in flagship Samsungs even though they made an Exynos oct-core with the S4.

These are custom made and should be more powerful than A72, if they aren't, then it's a big letdown since that's what next gen will use.

I don't get something. How will the SD820 be faster if it has quad core 2.2 GHz CPU? I know it's on 14nm technology but will that be enough?
If everything goes well, I hope it will find it's way to (European) Galaxy S7, as because of Exynos (although very fast) it has no custom ROMs

benchmarks aside (I don't care if mongoose has 100000 antutu points and 6000 single core points, real life usage will all be the same) I will pick a galaxy s7 with s820 soc cuz of the additional capabilities it has!

lol, i am sorry for the cosumers who purchased devices with sd 810! wow sd 820 is very great. samsung will now cancel its exynos 8890.

AnonD-415703, 10 Nov 2015If this only supports 28 megapixel cameras, what processor ... moreMost lumia phone don't have that high of a resolution . Way too impractical. So the use some sort of software trick with a smaller camera, say 20mp and it turns into a fake 50mp photo. Usually it still sucks.

AnonD-415703, 10 Nov 2015If this only supports 28 megapixel cameras, what processor ... moreIt wont. As the author said, it will come to Android flagships. Don't expect it to be on phones other than Android. Good writing.
