Anonymous, 11 Nov 2015I don't know why are you wasting your time arguing with nok... moreMegapixels does matter if we want more details. I usually click photos in 5MP with my Lumia 930 and they are better than the iPhone(at least the last generation, don't know about 6s) but if I want more details I click photos in 20MP. If I want to do a lot more with the photographs I click DNG files which provide a lot of flexibility while using Photoshop.

Give it a chance to prove itself people. Don't judge a product that hasn't been released.

AnonD-375713, 10 Nov 2015you.... haven't heard of the Lumia 1020 right... real 41 me... moreI don't know why are you wasting your time arguing with nokia's 41 MP camera. iPhone has 12mp camera but captures really impressive pictures. we should believe in the quality of photos not in Megapixels. You should know that galaxy s7 gonna have 12 MP camera

if the Qualcomm custom designs of chipset truly result in faster chips than the ARM standard designs then how come ARM doesn't use the same designs as Qualcomm?

FreezeGame, 10 Nov 2015Snapdragon, Exynos, Mediatek, Atom, Kirin, or NUCLUN 2. Lot... moreAgreed. It appears that Kirin 950 is going to be a beast.

Snapdragon, Exynos, Mediatek, Atom, Kirin, or NUCLUN 2. Lots of competition out there.
If the latter four could permeate the market to the point of being a real threat to Qualcomm and Samsung, overall prices would be amazingly low for consumers.

Since both 808 and 810 are slower than 801 and 805 on real world usage I hope that 820 would finally handle 1440p properly.

Well yea yea i was waiting for this. Definetly this cpu is gonna be blaster. It might lack a bit in multi core performances, but it is gonna top single core for sure.
Single core benchmarks are gonna be so important. There isnt many apps who are using multicores, so octa cores are not that much of importance. Octa cores also eat too much energy. I dont believe that sn820 will stop at 2.2ghz, maybe some revisions in first q1 of 2016 will step up to 2.5 or 2.7 ghz.
Just for information, as far as my knowledhe goes...14nm FinFet 2.2ghz is incomparable to 800-805 series which are clocked 2.2-2.7 ghz. Newest build means 5x more efficiency in several other way.

I am pretty hopeful for the 14nm process. Double the performance is obligatory marketing jargon. I would like to see more about the efficiency with battery consumption. The Quick Charge 3.0 at 4x faster charging is a great feature. The camera 28mp definitely is exciting per Sony has already pushed out the 23mp on their flagship devices, but I am curious about the CMOS size for the camera. That will indicate the amount of light it will receive in the photos. All in all lots of exciting features to look forward to. Just want to see how each of the manufactures implement it on their devices (Sam, LG, Sony, HTC, OnePlus, etc)

The keyword is CAMERAS, in the specification postet by Qualcomm earlier this year was info that it will support DUAL camera set up of 28MP, which clearly means more than 40MP for the main camera, if the second is not something like 13 or more.

AnonD-398362, 10 Nov 2015Most lumia phone don't have that high of a resolution . Way... moreyou.... haven't heard of the Lumia 1020 right... real 41 megapixels sensor: http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_lumia_1020-5506.php
What it does is the opposite, instead of blowing it up on software, it downsamples and makes a better picture (as in noise levels and such).

"You should obviously expect to see this chip inside most (if not all) of next year's Android flagship smartphones."
Obviously? I thought Samsung - the largest smartphone company on the planet has its own chipset - the Exynos which beats the Snapdragon both far and wide.
