dont be so happy just yet. This device was presented on a laptop for a reason - yes it shows the nice features and the design (however i must admit it LOOKS nicer than win7 tho i hate that fact :p )but its also another trick that would FOOL most of the not-so-smart ppl and that is the smoothness and the flow of the symbian3. This is laptop based presentation and the operations are done 100 times faster than they will be on the actual phone device. Do not expect a lagless phone with Symbian^3 on it. As they do count on ppl having big eyes and expectations and would grab any S3 device coming out on the market.

          I'd advice caution ...

looks like a great UI with almost nothing else to be desired.
so much for Symbian going down.
it is destined to be the world's most used OS given the number of phones to be selled.
in the future of OS's a see a unification in terms of capabilities with the greatest differentiating category being app market.
but appstore will always be restricted to about 15 million iphones sold per year so i see android and symbian taking the lead because they will run in hundreds of millions devices per year

s3 looks great, s4 is even more greater.

Improved ui on symbian will reduce the iphone and android ui advantage

all i want to say. Nokia will always be the number one smarphone maker
s3 combine the best of iphone annd android
                    s4 will see innovation

multi-touch on resistive sounds like an update to Nokia N97. dubbed as v.30.xxxx or until v.40.xxx.

Im not saying they will update the N97 but I was hoping they will update the N97. Hope not to confuse anyone
