They need to get a move on with this 2.1 update, people are gonna switch to a newer HTC phone by the time these updates come out. I have the Hero and my upgrade is early May, looks like I will have the HTC Desire before I have 2.1 on my Hero (which will probably be selling on ebay by then!)
Hurry up HTC!!!

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2010galaxy has 192mb ram fyi and vodafone htc magic also has 19... morei5700 has 192 megs and the i7500 has 128. i would say that i7500 isn't flagship android device from samsung. rather i5700 due to his divx capable processor clocked at 800mhz (same as omnia 2)

Because the i7500 only has 128MB Ram, it can be upgraded to Android 1.6(Coming Soon from Samsung, by Q2 2010), anything above won't perform at all, will lag and cause the unit to struggle. You will not be able to multitask !

If HTC can update to Android 2.1 for all their devices, why not Samsung for their flagship Android offering, i7500.
