... moreI followed the steps like you mentioned. Since I don't use FB and Messenger that much anyway, I didn't bother with re-installing them. But it seems to have worked for now, which is good enough.

I was having the same problem,a message box would appear saying google play services has stopped whenever i tried to open playstore.
I did not have fb/fb messenger. So as someone suggested i uninstalled updates of google+.
Now, the glitch here was that when the box saying google play services has stopped appeared, playstore app was actually loading in background.So instead of clicking on "ok" button ,I clicked on "report" button,but didn't actually report anything.And now Playstore is back.

Yesterday I updated my one-plus x and as a result my phone is heating up so rapidly when charging and using WiFi. It never happened before updating my phone.
Can I roll back to previous version of OS.If then please tell me the steps to do that.Otherwise
please give me suggestion for solution .

My phone has stopped working too after the upgrade. Phone is lagging, google play store not working, google play services not working. I disabled Google+ and now it showing error connecting to google servers. Any idea how to fix this. ? Phone is getting heated too.

I updated my one plus X with the latest update yesterday..
It wiped some of my imp. applications and the play store is not working as well.
So m not even able to download the application which were deleted...
please help if anyone know the solution.

Hi, I updated my OPX to 3.1.3 the day before yesterday and as usual the google play services have stopped. Additionally, my device have stopped charging too.
Firstly, I used to have a malfunctioning USB FRC cable (internal female one). I got it repaired from an authorized OP service center a week ago. Is it true that OS and the changed cable have a compatibility issue.
Secondly, I have wiped out data and cache in recovery mode. However the factory settings contain Facebook and G+ app. So, the problem may still exist even after wiping out.
If there isn't any compatibility issue, please suggest me a way out. Please note that the device is completely discharged.

Uninstall G+ and reboot. It should automatically fix problems. worked for me
