The eco system can be user friendly yes, but you need to understand the difference. And the fact that you don't know the difference says a lot about you. It also proves you lack the knowledge to have this conversation.

Yes, it looks ugly, but when you put your phone on a table, You just see the edges and it still looks sleek!! I think Apple just doesn't like its phones look fat :)

And i find this design horrible. You should recheck your viewpoints on customers. We don't just buy Apple products for that little Apple logo or because of their so called "great marketing". I think Apple knew exactly what it was doing... It may look funny in pictures (I agree) but the two quick benefits I see are 1) it's easy to bend the case from the top and bottom to fit onto or off the phone (I am a runner with an arm band I put my phone in so this is important to me) and 2) The bulge may provide a grip in your hand that makes it feel great (speculation, I will find out when I get one)

The more i look at it, the more it looks as if the case is pregnant lol I wonder what Jony said when he seen it. I think it's safe to assume he didn't play a part in it's design.

So what they are doing is giving an option to bump it up. This is an ugly hideous looking option. But an option nonetheless. Providing options is never a bad thing.

Just saying my opinion that this is better than carrying your power bank and usb cable.

They make the phone thinner with smaller battery, then make a battery case to make the phone thicker and charge $100, brilliant strategy.
