Get real, the hype is over, iPhone is an overpriced underseller and an underperformer... just like MAC and just like any other apple product.

So what happens to the apps developed for Maemo 5 like Firefox Fennec? How silly that Mozilla wouldn't be able to port it to MeeGo so have to start from scratch! One other thing is that they better get this thing to be better than Maemo 5 or else they are taking one step forward but two steps back.

LG GW990 already states OS to be Meego... with S-Class UI.

[deleted post]Nice list , only half of it is not correct ^^ I know lots of people are plain jealous @ the Iphone ( thats human nature) but without the Iphone , cellphones would not be what they are today^^ EVERYONE is making Iphone copys/ripoffs , some of them are pretty good , most of them are not^^ Its a old outdated list , and 85% of that dissapears after a jailbreak and some tweaking ^^ And in Juli , Apple will let the mobile world explode once again...

Maemo was very good name for OS. MeeGo is terrible. Look in mirror and say out loud "MeeGo"....

Nokia didn't put any software, they simply haven't added any restrictions like other companies do. The CPU and general HW configuration is also very powerful, just look at HTC HD2 barely managing to run the UI: http://www.maemo-freak.com/index.php/videos/1398-maemo-os-on-windows-mobile-powered-htc-hd2
As for running meego... as I know nokia they are too "cheap" to officially bring meego but the linux programmers certainly will ;)

What kind of software nokia put in the nokia n900 support all kind of os(guys hacked the n900 and run the andriod,mac,windows7 etc and now meeGo)

Lipra Loof, 01 Apr 2010I managed to install it on an iPhone 3GS, as it has the sam... moreI don't think that will work, even there is the same CPU, the thing is that the apple iphone is different architecture, and far behind nokia N900 or LG GW990 technology, so keep yourself down where apple used to bee ok.
