Even After Installing the software. As per the instruction showing, i have reached till point 6, when Sony Ericsson log will display connect Micro Usb with the phone. But since last 1 hour nothing happened. kindly help.

As promised, the first full software update for the Xperia X2 (in older posts on the Xperiancer blog I’ve called this MR1) is now available. Timing on the update is different for certain markets but many of the software versions are available now and I expect the rest to be available by the end of the week. The update will be distributed through the Update Service client found at www.sonyericsson.com/update.
This new software is a healthy step forward – not only does it bring performance and stability improvements throughout the device but it also introduces several new features as well.
Here’s a list of highlights:
- MR1 is built on a new core platform release from Microsoft including a newer version of IE6
- Stability improvements are everywhere with focus on SlideView, Panel manager and TileWave
- Performance improvements focused on rotation and touch performance, the camera, web browsing, the software keyboard and audio streaming
- New features are added like FM radio, Video calling, Auto-lock and Fast GPS which allows for a faster first fix to the GPS signal
- SlideView 2.0 gives better usability throughout with a fresh design; and new actions are build in like new/reply/delete/edit capabilities in messaging and calendar. Music scrolling/searching and the mini-player have also been enhanced
- The new dialer took a big step forward with four easy buttons giving easy access to the dial-pad, favorites, call activity and contacts. We increased the target hit area in contacts for finger friendliness and added user friendly redial functionality
- Based on feedback from you, we really worked hard on the software keyboard (XT9) by improving speed and touch responsiveness

Wow.... u must have a really slow 3gs then ROFLMAO I have a 3gs running 21 Mobile substrates and i never get that white screen for 4-5 seconds. I mean even right now, i just backgrounded like Cydia, and like 5 other apps leaving me with 30 mb of RAM, but i dont get any sort of white screen. and i highly doubt ur n95 loads apps faster than my 3gs. i guarantee u that the apps on iphone are so much more processor demanding than the ones on n95 that, if u ran the same app, ur n95 probably cant even run it lol. its just that the quality of the apps on the n95 is such low quality SHIT, that it loads faster, cuz there is no eye-candy. Kinda comparing if an old computer loaded quake faster than a new computer loaded crysis -.-
So ur troll....EPICALLY FAILED XD

It gets even worse than that on the iPhone when you start filling up memory, the screen goes like white for 4-5 seconds between every app or menu, like settings and stuff, it's slow as hell, but thank god they have their animatated widgets to keep them busy.

Anonymous, 07 Apr 2010Listen dude, there is no use for the power of Snapdragon in... moretrue,,the samsung u600 gained better battery by running cpu at 84MHz yet still played mp3,,opera mini etc..Instead of just employing 1ghz proccessor it would be better employing an engineer to perfect the whole operating system and optimising it to its max potential and adding a gpu and 330mhz proccessor,this would run rings round the snapdragon..Anyhow i am sick to death of that vivaz advert its driving me mad,,i have a piece of paper now to hold over the advert it ruining gsmarena cause cant concentrate..anyhow vivaz video is stuttery to me..
I had x1 and enjoyed it but upgrade to x2 seemed unjustfied..

Now I'm on SE x1 and it has been of the most impressive win mobile devices,The X2 is better than Iphone 3gs on paper but untill you use both devices for sometime you'll be able to see that the Iphone 3gs is on a class of its own

Back on topic, this is an excellent upgrade for the X2!
More reasons to love sony ericsson. Even after months of release, they still care enough about their users to update.

BTW i had the SEX1 and i will never ever buy another SE phone in my life!
