They need to sort out the outside of the thing - Hardware is ugly as F**K. And it's way wat too big, I cant beleive the next one is going to be bigger? WTF! MIGHT AS WELL LUG A LAPTOP AROUND WITH YOU.

Its nothing special that you copy Tech. if no one would do we would have still be in stone age.
The thing that annoys me is that Apple calls that multitask. which clearly isnt. every Techy knows it.

Commenting here from my N97. browser opened in one, mail client in other, music player, few games in another windows!! You guys wait for a while for that (year or so!)

It makes the icons more visible, and it just looks cleaner that way, but at least now with the ability to change homescreen backgrounds, those who are in to changing backgrounds can even have more fun with it.

They're not using the next gen iphone in the demo, but the 3gs. The next gen iphone will have a new design with a slightly bigger screen.

Mainly in their RAM and processors. 2G and 3G simply cannot deliver a smooth performance of 4.0 multitasking. It would give users a bad user experience, and that is not what Apple is all about. But there are tons of other cool features that the two older models still could avail of.

I'm not arguing with Steve Jobs. And I'm certainly not arguing with the millions that have bought and enjoyed a device that does what it can, very well. The figures say it all.
Tell me, why does Nokia/Samsung/SE keep releasing buggy phone after phone? And all this 5 years crap is nonsense. The N95 couldn't multitask, and it had software updates to make it possible. But then the N95 8gb came out. The N95, like the N97 were beta releases, but Nokia wouldnt say that would they?"

i remember that when steve jobs presented the third version he said that multi-tasking is useless and to hard to use and then he showed an image of a winmo device with a task manager . at least he has the guts to admit he was wrong. anyway, this new os gives me a sense of deja-vu. the third version also had over 100 new features, but many weren't that great afterall, and it was basically something that the competition had offered for years, but not in a fancy, touchable way.

Every time an Article appears about Symbian or Nokia, these Iphone buddies flood it with hate comments and puts it down saying that Iphone is the greatest, Fastest, etc.
I don't see why they now have a problem when Symbian fans do the same to their articles.
And all this talk about how Symbian's lag and crash when multitasking, this is just outright lies. Either they have never used an up to date Symbian or they used one of those Chinese clones cause in my 5800 I rum many apps and it doesn't have any noticeable lagging. Also it almost never crashes, the way they say it here, its as if Nokia phones crash every time you use them.
Please if you Iphone fans want to have an argument, use some actual true facts, For example Symbians have these advantages over Iphones-
- Can easily change Sims.
- Better quality external sounds.
- Plays multiple audio and Video files including Divx/Xvid flawlessly.
- Widescreen screen with much higher resolution.
- All features can be used one-handed.
- Does not need Nokias approval to run any app we want.
- True Multitasking with no visible lags.
- Better Battery life.
- Better Cameras and Video recording.
- Cost much much less.
- Also, already had simple things like, wallpapers, multiple push e-mail, a gaming network, e-books and folderized menus.
Could one of you Iphone fans list out some features like this that Apple has over Nokia instead of putting down false facts and personal opinions.
