phonedude, 09 Apr 2010I dont get it fanboys think that if apple put multi tasking... moreit might not be the multitasking that technical people think it is, but it does get the job done very efficiently. their only goal is to come up with a solution that most majority of users will find useful. Other than the 7 features they listed to run on background, what else do you need on a regular basis for multitasking?

Nokia are going to be too late to crash the party, as Android will be dominant by the time the next version arrives. xD

"ever have to think about closing apps" and "having the option to close apps" are 2 totally different things. "ever have to think about closing apps" means at one point it will slow down your phone and drain your battery so you "need" to close the apps.

If this is really the iphone OS 4.0, Apple can't anymore even stay close to Android. R.I.P Apple!
(I'm not a Android fanboy. I have Win.mo device. I say this that I see)

Anonymous, 09 Apr 2010Genius,
I'm glad i changed my iPhone for a BB Bold 9700 ... moreAnd STILL the rest of the phone manufacturers (esp. Nokia) cannot make a touchscreen as good as the iphones. They are behind 3 years and counting folks, "lol"
Seriously, all the trolls come out spouting the same old thing. The iphone is not trying to be the most innovative, I know that, iphone owners know that, and so do high profile Celebrities (Stephen Fry has a copy of the Beta on his iphone). Iphone is a luxury item. So what if it doesn't have the features of other smartphones. It does what it does well.
Oh, and at least the beta release of their OS isn't released yet, unlike Nokia, Samsung, who release beta versions to poor unware customers. (anyone remember the N95's button press bug?)

Well, here it is: http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review
The grand 4.0 "OS" amazing they still have the gut to call it an os!
See this: http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review
It provides links for every iDon't in the new firmware.
So far the great 100 changes that are around 5 don't fix anything at all!

Apples way of implementing multitask is dumb. I'll stick with pro switcher from cydia where the developer from various apps dont have to enable multitask for their apps.

ever wondered why Apple waited so long to make mobile phone?
Because it was hard to make phone with one button, without proper touchscreen :-))))
And that's reason why apple's battery can not be changed :-)
