The support with apple is neither better nor worse, they simply advertise a LOT!
Google for iPhone issues, iPhone battery, iPhone etc... see if you will find anything of the above.
Unless you own an iPhone and know where to look it's impossible to get a straight opinion about pros & cons.

Free gifts at Christmas? Dude! that's cheap junk...
Have you ever wondered why people mock you?

Seriously, how can a smart man fall for cheap junk? the stuff you get for free is free for anyone else, apple only puts it on a silver platter because they squeeze ~1000 bucks out of you!

Not a bad review actually, thanks for pointing that out.
That's a weak argument I'm afraid, another geek using Nokia's multi format sales and comparing it to one devices.
It's just not worth arguing, as people here don't get it. Current iphone owners have likely, like me, bought one because the support is the best in the world. I've not heard ONE argument against that. More apps, more updates, Free movies, Tv Shows games and apps given away at Christmas, I mean, that, plus the old Apple strategy of making things work WELL. Compare an iphone user to a N97 user, who has rare updates, poor build quality (scratched camera lens) and then has to watch as Nokia announces the N97 mini just a couple of months after the "beta version" is released? No wonder people are buying Apple.
It's a smart move, and guess what? When their contract is up, they might buy something different.

Bricked, 12 Apr 2010Yeah, the iphone was only reviewed and won all those awards... moreThis is the best one: http://crave.cnet.co.uk/mobiles/0,39029453,49303754,00.htm
Probably apple was late in bribing Cnet.
Too bad that with all that advertising nokia has sold five times more devices in the 4th quarter than apple in the whole year:
http://www.unwiredview.com/2010/01/28/nokia-reports-q4-2009-results-126-9-million-phones-sold-39-market-share/
Won't even mention samsung that almost overtook nokia.
The internet is a big place you should learn to see through apple's lies and fake advertising:

hey just wanna ask something, how does multitasking work with youtube on the iphone, for eg.if i'm streaming a vid on youtube then i get a push notification from an IM app like beejive. If i were to view that IM then would the youtube video keep streaming or would it pause?..and another thing , youtube videos is only viewed in landscape mode so so would you bring up the 'multitasking dock' ?..or maybe apple might change the way push notifications works with os4?..i'm a little confused actually so can you demo a video with iphone OS4 running youtube and then multitask?..plz reply man, your demo was kool

Anonymous, 12 Apr 2010Lol,
best for listening to music maybe, but email, don't... moreWhy don't you go open a Gmail account on your Blackberry.
Oh, that's right you can't.
Why don't I send you a 5MB email attachment from my iPhone.
Oh, that's right a Blackberry has a limit of 4MB for emails.
Why don't you set up Gmail as an exchange account with email, contact and calendar sync.
Oh, that's right Google doesn't support doing that with Blackberry.
The only reason Blackberry are so successful is that they can be locked down by corporate owners so that everything users do can be controlled.

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2010If you look on this page, the iPhone stories have almost a ... morewell, depends what you mean as "smartphone market".
iPhone and other Apple products are sold because they are "cool" and people think that buying apple product will make them "cool" as well. However the truth is different - pretending to be "cool" is quite ridiculous, for 3rd party spectators (like me).
Besides classic smartphones are used as universal communicators - to make calls (mostly voice), to connect to internet by all means nescessary, to connect to corporate network and exchange files, and also to receive and send e-mails.
I have been in several hi-tech companies and can tell you that Symbian, WinMo and Blackberries _Dominate_ market.
iPhone for me remains ipod with bigger display, memory and gsm/umts/cdma connectivity. And I suppose that was Apple initial idea about that device.
