Nokia N8 previewed before announcement, shown no love

I don't really understand what the reviewer is talking about. We've seen samples of Symbian^3 and they aren't that bad. It got rid of the most common inconsistencies that are present in the 5th edition of symbian. It may not have the Iphone eye-candy, but its definitely better than what the current touchscreen symbian offers.
Plus if the Image quality of the photos are similar to the Sony Ericsson Satio, then that's good quality. I just think the reviewer hates the phone. He hasn't even pointed out what is wrong with the UI.

Nokia are very good in their game. They never want to look like they tried very hard. It's pretty amazing how successful the 5800xm turns out to be considering how much people hate the styling, the interface, the OS, the cam etc etc. Infact it's the most interesting phone right now in gsmarena (hits by interest). It may well be the same story with N8, maybe not.

Nokia may have a good OS but in terms of the handset - they are just not getting it right. Where is Nokia faltering ? Dell seems to have a much better variety already from its brand new crop of smartphones. Something's not right with Nokia - this comes from a big fan. If it continues this way, Espoo HO may need to sell its stake in the next five years. Am serious.

symbian is dead
HTC&SE&SAMSUNG is making excellent android phones
also they will make some winmo 7 phones in the future
so they will have 2 powerful OS but nokia will have symbian!
nokia should concentrate on a modern os like meego or android

GSMArena's article was unbiased and simply reporting what the thief Eldar said.
They even said:
"Those are of course impressions based on an early pre-release sample of the Nokia N8 and we're likely to see improvements before the handset hits the shelves in the second half of the year."
Which is the only truth.
And I have seen plenty of iFanboys, the sad thing is that I doubt Apple pays them, they are doing it out of sheer fanboyism.

What's your point?
Nokia released the N95, E90 and a Maemo Tablet that year.
And they have offered 2 Symbian flagships and a Meego/Maemo flagship for 2010.
As far as support. 5800 just got its 5th major update, the E71 its 4th and free ovi navigation. Those are 2-year-old phones that still get major updates from Nokia this is not Samsung, LG, HTC or SE that we're talking about.

if nokia would join android they will lead again...but intill then...god knows what will happen.I like nokia but the OS it's really crappy..evem maemo didn't impresed me.If nokia would make an android phone i think they will sell it alot.Why i say android?well cause it has very good potential to be the leader and also can be customized by nokia themselves just to make it unique.Don't waste your time nokia with the Simbian.

it offers what other os offers, so there is no much advantages left for other os

Nokia needs to do what they did with the release of the N95. At that time, the N95 really blew away any competition with its specs, hardware etc. Besides the N900 every other phone from them has pretty much gone downhill. They really need to concentrate on releasing ONE good phone, and providing as much support and software for it instead of concentrating on rolling out many different phones.
The iPhone is doing well because they have just one phone for apple to turn all their attention to and provide as many apps etc to it. If Nokia concentrated on just One flagship device like that, they would really come back up. Theres no use in releasing flagship devices in a hurry with just a few differences in specs etc. They really need to build just one device and concentrate on it.

I am not fan of Nokia but I think some of my concepts can sale their. N8 was looking very impressive in ealier leak images however I sort of not liking it now. The design is changed from their regular designs but they could do a little more.
Hire me for a handset design?
ps. About Eldar, I stop trusting that guy some time ago as well.
