Love HTC but I do believe the M series should be different than the A series.
Firstly in regards to the A9, despite the so knockers, the fact is this is probably one of the most gorgeous, premium look and feel handsets in the stores. We own 3 and some apples. We took 3 months to decide on a unit and we couldnÂ’t be happier with the result.
1. In real life the phone is stunning
2. Battery life is good despite specs, HTC were clever here as some reviews have the performance ahead of some 3000mah batteries. Personally I am a moderate to heavy user and I get 1.25 to 1.5 days. Colleagues get 2.2 days.
3. It is zippy and definitely business class. We do not play video games.
4. Stylish
5. It is bright, uncluttered with a host of extra features. Totally gorgeous.
6. The finger print scanner is faultless and fast. I did not think I would like it but it is so convenient and the one touch in the natural position of your thumb, pow, everything is go.
For the M10, I would go for an individual look with one exception. The A9 has one of the best mobile bodies on the market. It feels fantastic so you could incorporate some of the smoothness but then give its own style and keep amoled.

every phone after m7 has been bad design because of no heptic buttons in the panel. they removed them. back now on the m9 after 3 years finally, so m10 might be good. no idea what they were thinking removing this for the m8 etc

Don't believe him: Evan Blass was wrong even last year regarding M9's design..I mentioned this to him in twitter, and he blocked me!

The closer to 6" screen the better, for me. M8's 5" was way too small and the camera was just a disaster... It's pretty much HTC's last chance of survival if they happen release a decent device for a change. After my bad experiences with the M8, I will probably never buy a HTC again, but it would be good to have the option in future as well.

Why they fix what's not broken? Instead of keeping god ol' easily recognisable design from One M7, upgrading battery, reducing pixels (from minimum 8 to maximum 16) of the camera and improving it's quality they bring flat and boring design which looks like a cheap Chinese copy as this design is already associated with iPhones, keep battery to 3000 mAh whilst other top players upgrade them up to 3500 mAh and mess up with camera again by giving it too much pixels. The only thing they're doing right at this moment of the development is adding back Snapdragon chipset, as PowerVR GPU is total shit, and waterproofness though I hope that the latter won't mess stereo speakers. I was hoping to buy a HTC cell phone as I love original One M series but it looks like it's time to give a try for other company.

I still love my HTC M8 GPE, now with Marshmallow 6.0, the battery lasts longer and its running even more fluid and fast than before. Only downside of me up grading to a newer HTC M10, would be the camera factor. Other than that I still luv my M8 and the boom sound is still to this day sound amazing.

I really loved the M8 when I owned it, I still miss it.
I hope HTC gets the M10 just right, I really like the A9 design to, people always forget that Apple copied the HTC One M7 design. HTC pioneered that design that paved the way for the new iPhone 6 designs 2 years later.

3000 is fantastic. that's about 2 days with use. 2800 is the bare minimum and that lasts from 6am to 9pm with moderate use

A9 is DOA because of the battery.. but I'm really hoping for 5.0" Amoled with 3000mah battery and FINALLY a good camera.. That would be the PERFECT phone!

we dont know what he ment with "if youliked A9you're going to like m10"...besides A9 is not so ugly and I don't care if they're copying apple...apple did it so many ime but nobody cared...I'm kind of disapointed with the small battery like 3000mAh...Z2 had that much...hell even Lenovo has phones with larger batteries like 4000/5000 mAh
still I'm eager to see new m10...hope HTC will make huge progres because Samsung and LG are taking hte spotlight and allready own it...
go for it HTC, there are still people who like your phones...count me in as one

battery life is 3000mah is not going to well on htc.if htc has longer battery life like 3500mah or more and dual sims.it will defenitly going to big success to htc one m10.otherwise i like all specifications...i ♡♥ htc...i want to recommand hass.t design.because it was awesome...
