Nokia sue Apple for patent infringements yet again

09 May, 2010
This is getting completely out of hand now. Nokia have just filled yet another complaint against Apple, this time with the Federal District Court in the Western District of Wisconsin. The Finnish company accuses Apple of...

akira, 11 May 2010can you really tell me where is the fact that you told me??... moreOk, here you go.

"There's speculation that the suit is intended to force Apple into paying royalties to Nokia, but it's also quite possible that Nokia wants to gain access to Apple technologies through a settlement. Naturally, stay tuned to this channel as the drama unfolds."

[deleted post]LOL think you'll find that I dont trawl through Nokia forums bashing the phone, unlike some who do this as an obsession (in particular Nokia lovers in the iPhone forum)! But if im in a forum such as this and making a point, I would have to defend Apple because Nokia are clearly making this a mountain out of a molehill! And as the old saying goes "innocent until proven guilty".

You see after 10 years of using a Nokia I have found they are taking a step back each time. I too use to only use Nokia as they WERE the best. And to a certain point, they still are the best when it comes to low-medium end mobiles. But when it comes to high end they fail! Why? Who knows, but I havent come across a single high end Nokia that matches the iPhone. I will wait and see how the N8 fairs (I wont lie on paper it looks very good except Symbian!!!).

Nokia cannot face the fact that Apple have such a brilliant, high profile, well loved device and they dont. And my point about the technology is that if Apple can produce such a product and Nokia have the capabilities, then why havent they got one on sale at the moment? Yes Nokia are rich, yes Nokia have had the ability to produce the goods, but are they really giving the consumer what they want? Apple are, hence the popularity of the iPhone and its sales to reflect it.

Look why dont some of you real... moreI think you'll find that every Nokia phone as well as every other Phone on the market uses these technologies already and have done for many years before the iPhone was even thought of, so if other companies pay nokia and dont complain why should it be any different for apple?!

Second, Symbian is the most outdated OS yet. Inserting some widget doesn't made it up to date.
          Maemo OS it's another story.
          Here's my OS stands:

          1st - Android OS
          2nd - iPhone OS
          3rd - Maemo
          4th - Winmo
          5th - Symbian

          IMHO.

            So the debate continues!

Look why dont some of you realise that if Nokia was "so great" like some of you have made them out to be, why is not one of their handsets outselling the iPhone huh? Combine sales of Nokia's 100 or so range dont count!!!! And if Nokia already had technology that they are suing Apple for "stealing", then why havent they got a smartphone that consists of this technology on sale now huh? Wow the N8 is coming out, only because they realise they are flagging in touchscreen smartphones. And only the 2nd Capacitive screen Nokia, wow Nokia your so special!!!!

What Nokia really like to do is produce on the cheap, live off their big name and hope that people will buy their next big release. They havent produced one single handset like the iPhone so far. Yes some of their handsets may have more specs, but there is also big let downs to match them. Buggy Symbian being the biggest culprit. User dissatisfaction a 2nd. The N97 annoyed a lot of people and that was supposed to be an "iPhone killer". LOL to that ha ha

Nokia are not the big players anymore and they dont like it. So they try and do what they feel is right and use tactics to sue Apple. Apple have not been proven guilty of any wrong doing and if Nokia fail to win, that will one BIG egg on their face. And a kiss goodbye to being a big player in the mobile industry!!!!!

the iphone is buggy pal do your homework.
the iphone is an app ran device, but the specs is out dated that's why it's so buggy.

i know of the two flagship stores in Chicago and New York.

I am refering to nokia stores nationwide, not a third party store such as best buy or other electronic stores. I am referring also to high and mid range smartphones europe models, not just the n95-3 (US version).

The n95 is old school, but still rocking.
