2016 Moto G and Moto X shots surface online

08 February, 2016
Both models look thinner and slicker than their predecessors and the Moto X appears to have a metal body as well.

They should make the G cheaper, I mean come on G is €245 over here (16gb) where Moto X 2nd is €260...

Yes, X 2nd is older but even current mid range phones are better for the price.

Irrelevant phones, the chinese overlords decided that moto phones will no longer come with near stock UI, so there's no reason not to go Samsung or LG.

Good to see a good thing going, but it's not all that exciting.
There have been no new mid-range chipsets launched since the last Moto G so the next generation will probably use the same chip again (2nd gen used the SD400 just like 1st gen before it). So if there are improvements, they will be incremental. But that's good enough if the phone remains mid-range (around the $200 mark).
The same goes for Moto X. Nothing has replaced SD808 and a SD820 is not very likely to be included because of price. It would be a nice surprise, however, if Lenovo/Moto somehow managed to pack a SD820 in a new Moto X without the price shooting through the roof.

Veronica, 08 Feb 2016Wondering if a new Moto E comes out an with wich hardware, ... moreI don't see a need for better SoC. Just put a flash and bump up the rear and front cameras to the level of Moto G 2nd generation, job done for next Moto E.

Well, the moto g of 2013 stared quite a revolution in a budget segment. G line is a very good line from Motorola, i hope Lenovo doesn't fuck up. While there are many good budget phones around, for 150€, how much the g2 costs in Europe i think it's still one of the best choices. Also the g3 works great. I just love the almost pure Android, good battery time and surprisingly quite a good camera. So go Moto:)

Wondering if a new Moto E comes out an with wich hardware, to be fair Moto E 2nd is performance wise as good as G this times.
