Im not an LG fan, but didn't they already did this with the 2nd dispaly in the V10? Just saying..

I have been using Samsung devices since 2012. On my S5, after 1 year and 4 months, the part of the display where the notifications bar sits, is slightly brighter than the rest of the display. It's very hard to tell the difference but it's there. So yeah, they don't burn in, but the display still ages which is completely natural and Samsung can't do anything about it.

Clearly copying LG V10's always on display..... and want trademark too.... I prefer LG and I'm waiting for G5!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if clock would keep changing position after being in same place for some time plus clock might not be fully bright but like night clock ob S6 Edges. there will be no burn in effect

This will cause burn in, but with turn around time of 2 years (average contract) it will probably be considered "acceptable".

it is not new thing.Nokia had this feature long before and recently Motorola had fantastic active display that even leave behind the Iphone.I used 3 days Iphone 6s and got back to Moto x 2nd gen just because of the active display.It feels stupid to have a dead thing in hand.

How do you trademark something that's a competitor's feature? Nokia have Always On Display for years but Samsung want to trademark the name? That's like Samsung trademark TouchID
