LG confirms Always ON feature for LG G5, still teasing us

LG teases its latest flagship's newest feature. LG's G5 could have an Always ON screen for notifications.

    Regarding patent wars, the implementation of the concept might is different here: as the article mentions, currently smartphones offer a "glance" where you can see info on the locked screen but it will go back off after a little while.

    The "novelty" here is screen will really always be on. Think the second screen on the LG V10.

      Soo after sooo many years of nokia having glance screen android counter parts are trying to copy it..it good move coz glance screen is a awesome feature...I must have..
      iam using now Lumia 950 and lg g4...will def upgrade to G5 if it all the feature iam looking for.hope it has wireless charging aswell

            its glance screen could be set to always on, and as its been stressed on in the launching of new lumias 950s

                        Probably LG will use AMOLED display on G5. So, there is no problem with Always-On feature ;) No battery drain, keep calm :)

                                    It is nice that Nokia came up with the first glance screen but look where he is today and where nokia LG, Nokia \ Microsoft will end soon. But even can glance screen so catastrophic battery is more than the LG G3, G4, V10. And it still has nothing AMOLED and battery comrades mistake here.
